rooms are spacious, clean & beach is awesome

Liberty, cleanliness , private, property Well maintained and great service

Location is fantastic The hotel needs maintenance and it is overpriced for the quality of rooms and service (st least at the price we paid with Orbitz).

Awesome location right on the reef! People were so nice!

The view from the oceanfront rooms was excellent. Nice patios to enjoy beach watching. You can snorkel right out front on the reef and that was a big plus. I wish there was a hot tub on the premises and a little store with some basic soft drinks and snacks

We have stayed here many times, and it suits us - mostly quiet and private (except when inconsiderate guests spoil the tranquility by blaring loud music from their balconies, or when the Somewhere restaurant is in full music mode). We can see the white sandy beach and beautiful Caribbean from our balcony and hear the waves lapping at night, which is very soothing. If you want a lots of amenities resort with everything on site to keep e.g. young kids fully occupied, this is not the place. There are those options further along Grace Bay. If however, you like a place to relax and take things at your own pace, and detest (as we do) anyone trying to "organize"or "entertain" us, then this is definitely a good place to be. The suite we stayed in (same as last year) had been refurbished in the intervening period, which made the place seem very up to date and smart. The properties are self catering, with full kitchen facilities. If you rent a car, there are many dining options within a 5-10 minute drive of Coral Gardens. We like Shark Bite as a reasonably priced, casual dining option that is close by. The staff at Coral Gardens are helpful and accommodating. We love this place and just wish more visitors - staying at Coral Gardens or just visiting the reef right off the beach for snorkeling for the day - avoided stepping on the coral....sadly the coral quality has declined over the years, although you can still see many reef fish & turtles (& the occasional barracuda)

Room was beautiful, with great views. It had all the amenities in the kitchen for cooking your meals. Resort was relaxed and quiet, but had excitement if you wanted it at the on site restaurant. Great snorkeling right off the beach.

This is our 5th trip to Turks and Caicos. 2nd time at Coral Gardens. We'll be back. Two days of high winds from the north made snorkeling conditions impossible for 2 days and poor for a couple of more. Even closed the Somewhere restaurant for 2 days as high tides washed up over the bank. Still a great trip and a wonderful place to stay.

Overall we had a pretty good experience. We would’ve rated our experience the highest, had it not been for two important issues for us, sleeping and bathing. The mattress was probably outdated and uneven, very uncomfortable to sleep on. The shower was a big problem in that the water pressure was very low all the time and there was almost never hot water available, most likely due to a defect in the shower lever. Again, we believe this hotel is great primarily due to its proximity to the reef and the incredible staff!

It is not really a hotel, it is a collection of condominiums that are rented out and managed by separate management companies. The unit I stayed in was very nicely furnished and the kitchen had all the amenities of home. I stayed on a lower level unit so i could literally walk out the patio door and within 50 Ft be on the beach. The only downside was the maid service was very inconsistent in leaving towels and toilet paper.

Great location on beach with a coral reef right out your door. Somewhere Cafe is on property a great fun restaurant right on beach. Good friendly staff wiling to help with your needs. Rooms needed to be a little cleaner, but overall was fine.

Small, quaint size hotel with the beach right outside your door. The restaurant Somewhere was delicious and staff super friendly.

Beautiful beach & snorkeling. Wonderful, friendly staff. Need car or always paying for taxis

The staff is very friendly and anxious to help you. We especially enjoyed Jerome! He is a remarkable man!

The staff was so friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we had a good vacation. The beach was amazing. You could swim out a few feet and see many types of tropical fish on the coral reef when snorkeling.

We choose this hotel because of the location to the water and reef for snorkeling. Hotel is beautiful and the water was beyond what we were hoping for. Very safe and easy to drive on the island. The only negative thing that I could say is it's very expensive to eat or purchase food at the stores.

The location was great. The staff was very useful and friendly. An old decay construction on the side of the complex was not fair to see.

Beach: gorgeous. Rooms: a little dated, but lots of space and comfortable. Snorkeling experience: awesome. Other than the multitude of colorful fish and coral we saw a turtle and stingray, grouper and barracuda, and who can beat having it all within five minutes of our room? We felt well taken care of by the staff. They remembered our names from the first minute we got there. Purchase your alcohol duty-free at the airport, stop at the grocery store on the island, and you can live like a king for a week with a couple of pricey restaurant dinners thrown in. We also got massages at the spa next door-- heavenly! We never hit the pools, nor did we rent a car. We walked along the beach to dinners and then took cabs home at night. The Somewhere Bar at the beach makes frozen mojitos to die for. Thursday night local Fish Fry was really great...cheap and delicious. Coral Gardens might not be as upscale as some of the places surrounding it, but it's all the same beach, which is where we spent most of our time. We will go back.

We did enjoy our stay: the hotel is perfectly located, and the staff could not be more helpful. We'll definitely come back.

Hello and thank you so much for choosing Coral Gardens time and time again! We really appreciate that you took the time to share your experience. We also 100% agree that while Coral Gardens may not be the ideal place for everyone, it certainly is the ideal place for many of our repeat guests, like yourself. Also, thank you for your care and concern about the health of our precious coral reef - It is certainly a team effort, so we appreciate all that you do. As you know, it is cordoned off and there are signs advising visitors on the best way to enjoy the reef while also protecting it. There is also someone on the beach keeping an eye out to ensure that visitors don't stray into the protected area. We do look forward to seeing you again on your next visit!
