I enjoy staying at this hotel. Walking distance to dining. They orovide shuttle service and makes the arrangements for you.

We booked a room with two queens. When we showed up, they had no rooms available with two queens. I ended up sleeping on a pull out sofa, which stinks. It's been two days and my back still hurts. If they don't have the rooms you booked, we should have been notified immediately.

What I liked: The Hotel is a good choice for budget conscious travelers. It is definitely close to major roadways so very easy to get to. The rates are very competitive, the property is clean, quiet and looks very safe. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Its very close to the airport and so very close to an almost endless array of restaurants. An added bonus, parking was free, which is rare in Orlando. What i did not like (or was not so appealing). Parking spaces were on some nights at a premium. The property area is pretty small, so it did not appear that there would be enough parking for all guests if the hotel were full. The breakfast was included in the price, but it was the same fare every morning. This is more observation than complaint, however, they had 1 waffle maker, which made 1 waffle approximately every 5 minutes, so you can imagine parents becoming impatient while their hungry kids were waiting for their waffle. The rooms were spacious, but not the bathroom, which were quite cramped. The tub was an old school tub, but ours had a raised portion which i was not sure if that was there for a reason or not. In any case, what would have helped immensely would be an arched shower curtain bar that would provide some much-needed extra space in the shower. Most modern hotels have this feature these days. Lastly, while the cleanliness was pretty good overall, on the first day, did find some hairs from the previous tenant in the shower.

The staff was very friendly. Room was clean, beds are always great. I thought the coffee maker wasn't working, called the front desk. They sent someone up right away. It turns out I didn't know how to push the button! Breakfast buffet was very good. Lots to choose from. We love the Wingates! Great place to stay!

Came to Orlando after 9:00 by plane. Called for the shuttle and it came shortly after the call. The driver was courteous. Check in was quick and I was able to go right to my room. Upon entering the room was very clean. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants due to the time I was able to order door dash. It came to the room and dropped off my meal. Before leaving the check in I did reserve a spot on the shuttle back to the airport for my cruise transfer in the morning. There was some sort of breakfast available however I did not partake in it do to time constraint. The front desk staff was responsive with my questions and requests. Also, I was able to use the computer for quick access to get my papers printed for my cruise. There was no charge for computer use or charging of two pages.
