The property has a great beach and pool. Also, the kitchenette area in our room was very useful for the baby. It was nice to be able to walk to all 3 properties. We really enjoyed walking thru aquarium at the main property. There were several issues we had with the property and they include: -The property does not have any umbrellas for guests throughout the beach and pool. They do have these chairs that come with adjustable covers but they do not provide protection from the scorching sun -The food is terrible at all the Atlantis properties. The best food we had was at shake shack and I normally never eat fast food. -There are doors that do not open automatically that should and elevators that did not work to see the aquarium. This is crucial for people with strollers and disabilities. If you don’t care about eating good food and just want to burn in the sun on a nice beach, then this is the place for you. We will not return to any of the Atlantis properties.

No hot water from 7pm to 7am one of our nights, with no compensation or even apology. Made for a rough night where our baby caught a cold. Not many healthy lunch food options for young children, either. Otherwise, it was great.

This vacation got off to a very rocky start. I appreciated the transient area; this was convenient when we arrived earlier than check in time and were able to change and get out to explore. However, when we were given a room we were not told there was not any hot water. When we called to report it with only a few hours to shower and get ready for dinner, we were told someone would be by to check within an hour. An hour went by, no one. So we called again. At that time we were told it was wide spread and engineers were working on the issue. We communicated the needs of our family (this included a 4 year old) and honestly hot water should not be considered above and beyond. After many calls to the front desk, Craig, the manager called back and gave me an attitude as if we were the problem. It was uncomfortable and did not meet the expectations of an expensive resort. We were given another room after 10:00pm, again, unacceptable. As paying guests of the resort we should have been proactively notified of the issue, not lied to several times when we called to report the problem and lack of resolution.

Overall we had a great stay at the Atlantis. The property was very clean, food was mostly great, and outside of a few grumpy staff members, everyone was really nice. We did have an issue at check in where our room took almost 3 hours to be ready. The concierge that checked us in was not very warm and seemed like we were bothering her. However, other staff did a great job getting us in just in time for us to make our dinner reservations and did give us a credit for the inconvenience. Again, we had a great experience overall and look forward to coming back
