We booked a room with two queen size beds in advance, and once we arrived to the front desk to check in. We were advised that we only have one bed instead of the two. We stayed one night only as we decided to leave and look for somewhere else, the Hotel Manager mentioned that the hotel will only charge us for one night and the refund will reflect back to the credit card for the remaining night. The money wasn’t refunded to me as we were promised from the Hotel Manager
Loved this place. Neat art deco hotel right next by beach and restaurants. Staff were refreshingly gracious and helpful.
On balance, have to say The Tony Hotel is somewhere between very good and excellent. Property, staff, location, amenities, restaurants, everything well executed. Had corner room above News Cafe, facing Ocean overlooking beach. Initially concerned Weekend noise might be an issue. Not a problem in mid Oct. Balcony unexpected bonus!

The room was clean and bug free. The staff members are friendly. There is no parking at the hotel which has a my only complaint.

We booked during spring break and we’re concerned about noise. We were put on an interior room on the third floor that was super quiet. We slept with the window open. Other reviews alerted us to an unreliable elevator, but it worked fine. The rooftop pool is spectacular, offering an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. We’ll be back!
Great location. Noisy, but the windows block out the sound. Wonderful bathroom. Nice retro feel.
What a great place the rooftop pool is very nice the servers did an amazing job to get everybody drinks with our large group and everybody enjoy this day plus it was walking distance to everything on South Beach
Check in was super quick. The area is full of restaurants and close to the beach. The beach chairs and towels are included, they charge $20 for an umbrella. We stayed 3 days and the beach towels were never available. The staff was super friendly.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
We liked the physical room but not the ocean drive building which had inadequate security the only elevator was broken for 2 of the 3 days I stayed there (I was on the 3rd floor) and there were drug dealers, prostitutes on all corners surrounding the hotel. Additionally the kitchen closed at 5 pm so you had to go out in the unsafe south beach area to eat at expensive restaurants with food that didn’t meet the expense. I would not recommend this property or south beach for that matter.
Beautiful hotel, super clean rooms, friendly staff. Perfect location, close to the beach, shopping, and dining. We would definitely stay here again.
