Loved the shuttled service!
The Perry Hotel has lots to recommend it but there are a few things that could be improved. Good -friendly and helpful staff -enjoyable walks along docks where sunsets and impressive yachts can be viewed -Bernstein Park is just around the corner. Good place to jog. -Superb French Bakery within 10 minute walk. -Free shuttle to downtown Key West Not so good -junk fees “resort fee” of $50/day state and county tax is how they increase revenue while quoting competitive rates. At a regular motel or hotel, the pool, exercise facilities etc are included. Add the word “resort” and those same features will cost you an additional $300 for a 5-day stay over a weekend. Then there’s the mysterious “destination fee” which ranges from $2.78 to $8.50/day. Who knows what you get for that... I guess surge pricing is the way of the world but our room rate jumped from $268 on a Thursday to to $430 for Friday night. Yikes! -24/7 music in public spaces. We wanted to read our novels and work on our laptops by the pool but fairly loud Led Zeppelin made that impossible. Not that we don’t like Zep…but peaceful sunny spaces in the day are an important relaxation factor for many vacationers. -No heat on cold days. Though they’re relatively few, Key West does experience cold days in winter. After fiddling with the thermostat for 20 minutes, I learned that the hotel has no heat. The staff sent up blankets the first night but we eventually had to borrow a space heater from local friends.
Mixed feelings. Staff was nice on check in. Room was a little lacking for close to $500 a night. $56 hotel fee per night for (unknown). $27 a night for parking ? Biggest frustration was after first night we were out all day and returned around 5pm. Room had yet to be made up and as we were getting ready for evening, that's when maid showed up. Expect more at that price point / area

The Perry is a beautiful Hotel. The rooms, pool, restaurant and especially the staff is top notch!! I would totally recommend staying here!!
We just returned from our anniversary trip in Key West where we stayed at The Perry Hotel. Check In was awesome and so accommodating - Emily and Jamie were top-notch! Johnny the concierge was so helpful planning our excursion. Kim, the shuttle driver, was also knowledgable of the area and suggestions for things to do in town. The rooms were clean, but the hot water was not so great. On the second day, my husband had to take a cold shower. While on an excursion, another couple were also complaining of the shower situation. The food was delicious, but the service was hit or miss. Sometimes, we had to ask for assistance after sitting for several minutes. Pool was relaxing and exactly what we were looking for. Check out is our biggest complaint. On Wednesday, we asked Mati (or I think that was her name) for a late check out - 12 pm. We were told that this wasn't a problem and went about our morning on Thursday unknowingly. When we got back to our room to pack, our key didn't work. We went to the front desk and said that they couldn't do the late the check out now and the lady wouldn't even make eye contact with us. Thankfully, they were able to give us a few minutes to pack our things but knocked at the door twice ready to turn over the room. I wouldn't have been upset if it had been communicated with us properly. We could have planned our morning differently, etc. All in all, it was great vacation....just a few things that could have been better to make it perfect!

The Perry Hotel is 30 minutes by shuttle to Key West. Free shuttle from hotel on the hour. Beautiful property. Good food at the two pool bars, happy hours, main restaurant is pricey. Great Lakes coffee on site along with an ice cream place. 20 Minutes from airport. Property beautifully maintained. Not a huge facility. HogFish Grill is a great casual place nearby where the locals eat.

Awesome hotel... super clean and the staff is awesome. Matt's restaurant is a must. We will definitely be back soon. I wish the pools were open a little later but its not a biggie.
I am very particular about hotels and I spent a long time choosing a hotel in the Keys. This hotel did not disappoint. It’s new and modernly designed. It has a fresh clean feeling. Beautiful floors - no carpeting, which I prefer. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The pool is beautiful especially when lit up at night. The view by the Marina is relaxing. Staff welcoming and friendly. Free shuttles into town make it easy and away from the noise of Duval at night. The food on property is good. Concierge is helpful. Would definitely come back here again.
The hotel is away from the crowds and bustle of Key West, adjacent to the marina where you can see all those big yachts you wish you could afford. It's new, well designed, has two pools, excellent food and service, and convenient transportation into town. We'll be back!!
nice resort with everything that you need on the property. The staff was excellent. From the front desk (Sarah) to the Pool Attendant (Laura) - all did an excellent job.
Beautiful property and loved that it was away from the loudness of Key West. Only suggestion would be to have restaurants open later.
Perry was a nice hotel with great amenities. Off the main area but they have a timely shuttle to the downtown area. We didn't get to utilize the jet skis on site due to weather conditions, but it is convenient to have. Staff was great, room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Great balcony with sunset view.
Loved this hotel and will be heading back the next time we go down to Key West. Hotel staff was amazing and top notch. They always want to make sure you are comfortable, having a good time and taken care of no matter what your needs. We also loved the large decks that we enjoyed sitting out on and enjoying morning coffee or drinks in the evening. Although it isn’t in the thick of things in downtown key west there is a free shuttle that runs back and forth that is super convenient. We actually enjoy being able to go into the craziness that can be downtown key west but being able to remove ourselves from it and come back to our quiet relaxing hotel. Fantastic hotel. You will not be disappointed if you book with this hotel. We will be back for sure!!!
