I saw the pool pictures and I was sold. My bad I did not read reviews. Our room had wrinkle sheet and kids found a water bottle cap in one of the beds. We did ask to switch to another room, but just 'OK' Saturday morning at the pool was good, it was actually open, unlike Friday night. Although, later that evening it got crazy with kids. The hot tub, which had an occupancy of 8 max, now had up to 15 kids. The water went from somewhat clean to dirty brown. Yuck! I don't know who is tying the hands of the employees, but I think management NEEDs to spend more money to help educate, as well as compensate them for all their hard work. As well as put some money into maintaining this seem to be at one time beautiful hotel. Good Luck!

Carpets were dirty - sink had leak - wake up in morning whole area in puddle - just mot veryclean throughout seemed old and out dated - restaurant doesn’t open till 5 then closes at 9-10 depending on if there is anyone there - so could not go to watch a game at all like the Royals or college football games on Saturday- staff was courteous but did show attitude when you asked questions and bill did not show purchases just prices - so no itemized bill for write off - all in all should have stayed somewhere else - wasn’t a total bad experience but just seems I would have been happier at a different area

Monique at check-in was wonderful. She was so kind, patient, and thorough in her job. Andre and David at the bar kept us laughing and our cups full. The hotel itself has such charm and the atmosphere is welcoming. Our room had an issue but it was swiftly taken care of as best we could at 2am, we were moved in the morning to a new room and it was seamless. The staff at breakfast were all kind and our omelettes were delicious! We will definitely stay with them again when in Kansas City.

The hotel has a great lobby and nice decor, however you can tell it's very outdated and needs upgrades. The elevators were sketchy, both mechanically and they had soft spots on the floor. We had multiple rooms as a group, and every room had at least one issue. Mine had one TV that did not work, and one that did, however it would constantly freeze due to the service provider. One bright spot for this hotel was the complimentary breakfast, evening drinks and the bartender, Andre.

A very worn out facility. It seems nothing has been updated since it was first opened. We had to keep our bathroom door closed so as to keep the smell of sewage from leaking out into the main living area. Overall, it met our needs. Just probably not even close to approaching the value that is paid to stay.

If you need to be near the hospital this place is convenient. But it is very tired and not up to the reputation Embassy Suites created starting years ago. TVs are ancient. Entry carpet has large stain. No coffee in room. Broken iron. Broken sheetrock with mold on it by the window. Tiny toilet shower room. Stained tub. Old sliding glass door seal broken so window stained and cloudy. Paid parking. This hotel belongs somewhere else in the Hilton brand portfolio.

Outdated hotel. The paint in the bathroom was peeling, the bathtub was rusted, the coffee maker was broken, ice machine broken on our floor, stuffy room, $21 just to park. Breakfast was good but only if you get there by 9am. Not happy with this stay.

Breakfast was awesome. Facilities and housecleaning was bad.

Had to change rooms due to a smell. Fountain not working. Pool closed at 9 pm. Food was just okay.

In need of a remodel

Property has character but needs some upgrading. Furniture, wood trim, doors all show nicks and dents. No housekeeping for my 3 day stay. No restsurant in hotel though several in surronding area. Staff were very nice and helpful, best aspect of hotel stay

Very old and run down property, unsafe area, rate charged was way more than value of the facility. Extremely disappointed.

The front desk staff is very welcoming. Caitlin was awesome ! The room was cleaned Thank you!!!

Disapponited that there was no happy hour or made to order omlets. Assuming because of covid

Pool was reservations only for a hour

Love the pool and sauna. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
