very industrial, all concrete metal and glass. Our room was tiny and window looked out over interior reception area. Burns in carpets, sliding door for bathroom was heavy and didn't shut properly. Some outlets didn't work. Bed too big for tiny room; no luggage rack. Very loud noises at 6:15 am, we thought someone fell upstairs but were told we were next to the fitness center.
This place has style!
On Saturday night they had a dj in the lobby bar until 11pm. My interior facing room was blasted all night long. The sound really echoes in this large concrete atrium lobby; you can hear everyone walking and talking down there all night. If youre looking to sleep before a Sunday morning event, this is not the place. Also with no window to the outside, my interior room was miserably hot even with the furnace off.
The hotel itself was really cute. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was delicious. And generally it was just a fun place to stay. I would definitely stay there again.
Crossroads is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. I judge hotels by how quiet they are (doors don’t slam, I can’t hear the rooftop bar etc) and this was a nice and quiet hotel. Decor was new, updated and industrial. Every single staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly. Great experience.
Very nice hotel
We chose to stay at the Crossroads Hotel due to its proximity to Union Station. Thanks to the bridge that goes over the rail yard it was a short walk from the station to the hotel. In addition it was also a short walk to the downtown tram and various bus stops. It was also a short walk to Jack Stack and Lidia’s KC. The hotel was built inside an old Pabst storage warehouse. The design is modern and hip. Our room was in an interior section so the “window” looked out into a hall but was covered with enough drapes to provide needed privacy. Of our three night stay there was only one night where we a lot of sound from other areas of the hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall if we take the train to KC in the future we would stay here again.
Industrial style property. Good neighborhood with active nightlife.
This is a really cool hotel, very nicely renovated from an old industrial building. Great bar and restaurant area. Just a 10 minute walk from Kaufman Performing Arts Center. Neat vibe and a very pleasant surprise.
Great hotel. We would definitely stay here again.
Beautifully restored facility. Rooftop bar was great. Bed was comfortable. Valet parking quick. Shower pressure amazing. Friendly staff. Full housekeeping. Great dining options within walking distance.
I became ill during my stay, and the staff were very helpful and very generous. Truly exceptional service. I will definitely stay here on future trips.
Staff was awesome!
Great industrial look. Valet included in the room rate since no parking is available. Absolutely superb customer service.
