The hotel might have nicer rooms on higher floors but we were in room 1 on the basement level below ground. Room 1 needs updating, it had a musty mold smell and everything from the tile work to the trim looks like it was installed by amateurs. Don’t get excited for the minibar ours only had one sample size white wine bottle in it. The queen bed was two twins pushed together but one of the twins had a collapsing frame. So as you slept and laid on it your feet were higher than your head. But all of that I could over look if not for the fact that every night my wife and I could hear rats crawling through the walls. The Colonnade has a pretty lobby, and great breakfast but I’d wouldn’t recommend sleeping there.
