Honestly it seemed like our room should have been, like, condemned or something. Most of the tiles in the bathroom were so loose I could literally pick them up and they'd teeter when you walked on them. Workers though were QUITE friendly and helpful but sometimes a little absent, out smoking out front.

I needed a place to stay for a couple nights for a business trip. "Regular suspects" hotels have been booked, so this was a viable alternative. There is nothing too fancy about the hotel, but that's the point. It is a bit dated, but still in decent shape. I got a good rest, typical hotel breakfast and was ready for executive meetings. One bonus fancy hotels don't have - the window [partially] opens so one can get some fresh air.
