The hotel and starff were fine, but the area surrounding this hotel is undesirable. I would not have waked anywhere after dark, and I am very comfortable in the Bay area.

We had a lovely stay. We loved the European feel of the hotel. The rooms were small, but very nicely furnished. The staff was so kind and helpful, we were very pleased with our hotel choice. It is within walking distance of Union Square which suited us perfectly. I would recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel after I read the reviews given my prior guests but when I got to the hotel I got one issue after another. When I arrived to the hotel around 10 pm , the girl at the front desk couldn’t find my reservation even when I provided her the confirmation code and passport, when she finally found it , she gave me the room key to a room that was already occupied. I went back to the front desk and got another room. When I got in , not only the safety box was broken but the shower and bed cover were rags . After a long flight from Taiwan to San Francisco I was too tired to go back to the front desk again to address the issue . I only wanted to rest , something that I was not able to do because the mattress was hard. The following day after I ate breakfast which by the way was surprisingly good the lights went off apparently due to electrical outage in the area which I understand it was out of the control so I decided to do an early check out and even though the manager was at the lobby at the time of the check out he didn’t offered an apology or any time of compensation for the issue . Very disappointed

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the outstanding service I received from your front desk team during my stay on Friday morning, April18th. The lady and gentleman at the desk were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, setting a warm and welcoming tone for my visit. I regrettably did not catch their names, but their hospitality made a significant impact on my experience. I appreciate the effort they put into ensuring I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you for maintaining such high standards in service and accommodations. Looking forward to my next visit! Maria
