Beautiful grounds and a very comfortable bed. Loved Uncle Danny, the kayaks, Captain Rollin and his first mate Mike and the boat out to the sand bar. Loved the passion fruit tea, and the sweet gray cat:)

Room should be cleaned every couple of days

The property is in a really convenient location across the street from the International Marketplace. The front desk staff was really great, very friendly, informative, and nice to interact with. This hotel only does housekeeping every other day. The day we arrived house keeping had just been completed and when we checked into our room the previous persons eyelashes were still on the bathroom counter and her used makeup remover was on the balcony. Pretty gross. We stayed for seven nights, when housekeeping would “clean” our room they ONLY made the bed and took out the trash. They did not replace used cups/glasses or towels. Housekeeping did not wipe down our counter tops or vacuum. We could feel the sand on the carpet. We also noticed that when they changed our sheets they didn’t remove the old sheets so we had two top sheets. One of the fitted sheets they gave us had a small blood stain. If I noticed it housekeeping should have noticed it. A couple of time we called the front desk to request cups and towels, if we could get ahold of someone, it was a long wait for someone to bring the items we requested to our room. We had a similar experience at the bar. We had to wait for 15 plus minutes for a drink, when we finally got a bar tenders attention he said that he thought we had been helped. Idk how he thought that when we were sitting at an empty bar with no drinks. I expected a lot More from you Romer House. I won’t be coming back, I hope you do better for your other guests!
