Cozy, clean, it had all the things required to nake your stay perfect. And it was the lowest priced hotel/motel for downtown Ottawa. Staff was friendly and professional. We will be back.

Excellent location, room was super clean and presentable, fairly priced, and the free breakfast was super quality! The owner and staff were really flexible and kind with us; we were able to check in early, and I was able to pay via e transfer when my card was having issues. I highly recommend this place!

We used this quaint little hotel for 2 nights. Our room was on the 2nd level and had the cutest balcony with a view of the US consulate in the distance. Our room had 2 single beds, a kitchen and bathroom. Parking was nearby. The breakfast was good and included the usual buffet fare. The best part was the walking distance to the ByWard Market, many shops and restaurants and bars.

What caught my eyes from the moment we entered the Byward Blue Inn was the original art work that is visible in every direction you turn , in common spaces and in our room. Staff made us feel most welcomed from start to finish of our initial visit. Definitely we willplan a return stay on future stop in Ottawa.
