Wonderful everything!
Overall our stay can be summed up in one word; fantastic! We stayed in a smaller room close to the entrance, and even so we had the best sleep ever. This place is quiet; the only sounds we heard through the night were those we made ourselves. It’s a total new experience to breathe clean air perfumed by the ocean, old timber, and vegetation from the mountains, while being snuggled by the lightest, fluffiest down comforters. The bathroom was spotless, only thing missing was shampoo and conditioner, but that isn’t enough of an inconvenience to subtract from the experience. The staff is friendly, efficient and professional, and they quietly made sure that everything looked delicious and was available in abundance at the breakfast buffet. I wholeheartedly recommend you to stay here whenever you find yourself lucky enough to visit this wonderful place!

Henningsvær is one of the top two places to stay in the Lofoten Islands (Reine is the other). Hotel was great but would have liked it if restaurant was open for dinner. Rooms are small and walls are thin so neighboring room woke us up in middle of the night. Bummer

Tiny, But Pleasant; Parking a Challenge
Room was incredibly small, but had a loft we didn't use (great for kids, I suppose). Pleasant view of town from the room, and very friendly and attentive staff. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as there was always a bit of a battle finding a spot, and the spots were crazy tight. There is also a car-charging station within the lot, which often meant a car parked right in the middle of the lot. Had we needed to move our car while this was happening, it might have been quite a challenge, but fortunately, we did not run into this issue.

A MUST! This hotel is only rivaled by the incredible surroundings... From the moment of check-in you are warmly welcomed into a cosy, well designed, clean and friendly atmosphere. We were hesitant to stay because of all the mentions of a small room but we found ours (on level 1) to be perfect for a couple. The bed, down blanket and decor is so comfortable. The endless breakfast options are matched with a gorgeous view of the harbor and sea, making it just that much more enjoyable. We cannot wait to come back... Tusen takk!

staff was so helpful and friendly; providing dinner for us long after their dining room had closed when we came home late from a hike, allowing us to use their personal laundry for our clothes, providing breakfast to go when we had a very early morning flight. attractive decor, great breakfast, perfect location

Great location to visit plus great restaurants. Hotel room was very small, no TV, hardly room for luggage, but what redeemed this was plentiful seating areas downstairs where you could sit and relax

Wonderful View, Service & Meal, but Room Too Small
The view was wonderful. Wonderful service. The manager helped carry our bags upstairs as there is no elevator. The free breakfast was amazing. However, the room was so small, we couldn't open our suitcases. rA ladder in the middle of one wall to get up to a loft, which we didn't need, took up even more of the little space available to walk. We asked for a larger room and the manager told us they were all the same size. Of our whole European trip this was the smallest room.
