The hotel was an ancient repurposed Howard Johnsons. It was clean, a bit spartan, but very inexpensive. I would gladly stay there again.

Nothing in this hotel appears to have been updated since the 1970’s. Carpeting is threadbare and filthy everywhere. Furniture beat up and filthy.

Convenient being 1.6 miles from Amherst College. The room was clean but the walls in the bathroom wallpaper was rising off the wall. The light to the exhaust fan was blown. Did I feel safe on the property overall Yes! The staff was pleasant and greeted me when I got in. The rate for the overnight stay was great. Lots of dining nearby. Thanks

OK for the price point.

About as expected for the price point… or perhaps a bit better. It was obvious the room had recently been renovated, which included replacing the carpet with hard flooring - which is more sanitary I guess, but which did make the room feel a bit cold. The room had both a microwave and a refrigerator, which was much appreciated, but the Fridge and the TV we’re not plugged in, so it took a while to figure out how to get them plugged in and working. There were no instructions on how to work the TV (though not all that hard to figure out). Beds were super comfortable and well-made up. The water pressure in the shower was pathetic and there was not a handheld, so my shower was less than satisfying.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The BK was adequate, much like I see at many hotels. But the building itself is in much need of a total update. It’s an old hotel and is clearly showing its age. I expected better from a hotel by Windham.

Nothing truly unique but everything was a bit above average. The staff were unresponsive and the bagels at the breakfast were either a tad frozen or stale, but the room and the bath were very clean and the temperature was easy to control.

The staff here is extremely friendly & helpful. The breakfast isn't fancy, but you have plenty of options to choose from. We'd visit thus location again.
