Make yourself at home in the custom adobe house, where back bay windows provide a stunning view of the great beyond.

Embrace comfort and relaxation at every turn with upscale amenities that include hypoallergenic linens, top-of-the-line mattresses, and a stocked Keurig coffeemaker. The bathroom is equipped with an over-sized jacuzzi tub and a Mr. Steamer shower system so that you can clean off desert dust and unwind after a long day of adventure.

If you REALLY want to get away...

We were looking for a quiet, off-the-beaten-path place to conclude our vacation. We hit the bullseye with the Pecos River Cliff Hiuse. It is beautiful, , spotlessly clean, and totally quiet. We couldn't recommend it more highly!

Wonderful Location

The pictures accurately show the location and environment of the house. It is really a wonderful place to stay for a few days and get away from the real world. The river can be heard from the house and the bedroom has a massive four panel patio door opening to the outside so we left the door open and only closed the screen at night to be able to hear the river. The house is equipped with everything you will need and our host provided all the information we needed to both navigate the area and use the facility. The area at the river is completely private and well shaded. There are floats and canoes to use in the river and a picnic table and other seating at the river's edge. Overall a fantastic place away from it all.

Amazing View

We stayed here for a week. The house is in the most beautiful spot. It is secluded and has everything you need. We didn't come at a good time for fishing, but my teenagers sure gave it their best efforts. We spent time in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos. New Mexico was good to us. Thank you for the wonderful house!

A Peace of Heaven in San Jose, New Mexico

Their service level is top-notch, and beyond that, it's the details that make the difference. Hearing the river below & watching wildlife in abundance was soothing to the soul. The peacefulness, and quietness, & we enjoyed the rain as well. If one loves the nightlife there is Santa Fe about a forty-minute ride away. Views and great river access.

What a great stay! Host communication is perfect. The house is wonderful. We loved going to the river and hanging out. We had it totally to ourselves. The view from the house is amazing. Everything a person might need is there, right down to bug spray, a crockpot, fishing gear, foil, coffee, Tupperware. So nice. We were just 30 minutes easy driving by freeway to Sante Fe, which was an added bonus. We would stay again in a heart beat, if only we lived a bit closer.

Best vacation ever

Wife and i were there first week in August. I haven’t entered my review mainly due to inability to put the experience into words. We kept pinching ourselves to make sure it wasn’t a dream and that we were really there. The house itself is awesome and perfect in every way. The view was incredible along with the solitude never turned on TV. Never turned on music turned off our phones and simply enjoyed the natural setting. This is an outstanding property. We always look for unique private locations and this was it. Makes you feel like you are the only people around but yet easy access to the interstate. Views were gorgeous. Nice outdoor spaces. Area by river well kept. House was perfect. By far the best stocked house we have ever stayed in. Literally only need to bring your clothes and food. Perfect Getaway Spot!

This place is truly breathtaking! Very clean, well stocked with all you could need including, extra fishing rods, gear, life jackets, kayaks, roll away bed, fans and the list goes on. Owner is great at keeping in communication and was very helpful in giving us fishing tips. Majestic views and just a short walk down some stairs to a huge natural picnic area right along the rivers edge. Picnic benches and firepit make this a great area to lounge while fishing. There are also some great trails to explore along the rivers edge. We will definitely be making our way back to this fantastic place if they will have us again!
