They have a good buffet. The variety is there and the food is flavorful. The morning egg lady does good. There was a group of 12 that arrived and 9 got sick, they couldn't pin down what caused it. We ate about everything and were fine.
The biggest weakness of this facility is the lack customer service the employees have toward guests. The buffet has all these young girls and none of them understand service. One will walk up to the table and ask if you want a refill on your juice then walk away and a few minutes later bring it. She won't ask anyone else if they wanted a refill, just stuff like that, I suspect they are all beginners. After the food incident, the service got better too, odd. The front desk almost had us signed in to someone else's rooms, the last names were mixed up. The Restaurant reservations lady is downright rude.
No idea why the buffet is closed from 11:30 to 1:00pm, the time when most canadians and americans want lunch.
The Steak restaurant was fatty meat. The Capri Italian was very good.
The pool activities were plentiful. They play Bingo everyday we had no idea what some numbers were that he called. Pool service was good.
You can tell the managers by their dress attire, almost all of them walk around with no expression on their face, not smiling and and never asking guests how everything is...
The view is refreshing to look out from the resort and see the mountains rather than other hotels like downtown. Would I stay here again, No.
