Comfortable, no frills, modern

I stayed 3 nights at the Prestige. Upone check in and i was given 2 complimentary bottles of water due to the boil water advisory. I stayed in the Superior King room. Bed was a true king size. Linens were good. Room was very clean. Shower head was nice, good water pressure and rainfall style. Bathroom was also very clean. I didn't have the included breakfast as my trip was very busy, but it is offered. The room included a desk and a good sized tv. Everything worked as it should. You can tell the hotel is old, but it has been fully renovated. There was a watercooler in the lobby to refill your water bottles if you wish. All in all great stay.

Rooms upgraded, others were downgraded

Since the name changed to Ocean view Prestige Hotel, rooms renovated and upgraded, however, no all front desk staff is friendly as it used to. Breakfast is dramatically downgraded, hardly to see anyone to cleanup the table and the basic supplies like coffee, eggs, juices, plates etc are not refill when it is empty.

We ended up booking a room with the prestige after deciding not to stay at the pacific inn, the prestige was a nice needed upgrade and place to relax. The beds were clean and comfy, the bathtub was deep. The wear, tear and age of the building is starting to show in some places. The paint could be updated in the rooms.
