Perfect stay

Perfect stay, from check in all through stay. Staff were pleasant, room was beautiful. Very clean and everything you need, lots of sockets, hairdryer, tea and coffee and toiletries. Central for arena and restaurants

Nice enough hotel, its due a make-over and it does need a fresh look & a lighter atmosphere (lots of dark paint/wall coverings) Only complaint was that the hotel lounge was closed for an event & we weren't advised. This event started early afternoon so wasn't strictly a NY Eve bash

Good hotel, great location.

Room was nice, we got an upgrade to a King Room. Nice and clean, we had issues in the middle of the night with an argument in the next room, banging, shouting and screaming - the police had to be called (not the hotels fault, it was NYE) but it left a bit of a sour taste to the stay.

Very good hotel. Convenient location for our night out. Check in was quick & easy. Double room was quite small, dated with worn carpet but was very clean and heating/aircon was great and easy to use. Shower was a bit cramp and I’m on 5ft 5. Could hear everything going on in room opposite. Was provided ear bud which were handy. Slept well, there is however a Town Hall nearby that dings every hour

What happened to the hotel bar???

Bathroom sink did not drain and dirt or rust came out when it finally did drain. Curious pub (the only hotel bar open) had no beers available.

great for quick overnight

The hotel is functional and great for a short overnight stay it is a little tired and there is an issue for access to the 1st floor which houses the bar and restaurant as this is not served by the lift - I was pre warned about this but as I did not require either during my stay it was not an issue The bed was lovely and comfortable and provided a great sleep - the bathroom was clean and functional but there was minor damage The room also had air conditioning and heating although I found getting it balanced took a while
