This hotel has the best prices among other hotels that I checked in London. It also accommodated five people in the room, which was a plus. Stay was pretty decent until the last day. On the last day the electricity wasn’t working in our room, the pool was shut down the restaurant was shut down, Housekeeping did not clean our room so we had no towels or toilet paper. I called the front desk and no one answered so I had to send my kids down for the items. Hotel was close to tube but didn’t care for area. Not a lot of restaurants around and was about 20-30 minute ride from all the fun areas and things to do.

The Hotel is in a great location but the housekeeping was fair to poor meaning the floors in the hallways unclean always little pieces of garbage that the vacuum missed or they just didn't go over I had a kitchenette when they made the rooms up they didn't replace any of the coffee for the room had to ask for toilet paper 2 times the first day had to grab a vacuum from the hall because the entry way had garbage on it I actually had better housekeeping at a holiday inn in Pairs

Poor service for a major chain of hotels
We arrived early morning from Canada but rooms wasn’t available until 3pm or were had to pay 100 gbp. The room was not available until 4.30 There was no coffee tea etc, the cups and glasses were m NOT washed everyday inspite of leaving messages for room cleaners. Also after staying out all day and returning at 5 pm the room wasn’t made and this happened most days. At 5am in middle of our stay, was woken by tv message to say that I should settle the bill i.e 1 gbp for tel charge!,Paid them that but on checkout had to pay same again as receptionist didnt log my previous payment. I g Have travelled to other hotels of this chain in Amsterdam etc but never got such poor service inspite of paying premium rates for staying at tha Riverbank hotel for 10 nights We observed that the hotel was very busy with tour companies and people staying a night or two so they didnt really care NEVER AGAIN

So disappointed in this hotel. The website is extremely misleading. Weird, extrenely dark decor which i think is to hide how tired and in need of an upgrade it is. Bothe bedroom stank - one had a strong smell of mould, the other curry and pasta combined. The bathrooms and furniture were in desperate needof an upgarde. Shower cubicle was filthy and stained. We specifically asked about dinner and whether we needed to book on the first night, we were told no - just go upstairs. We did and the entire restaurant was closed to a private function!! We found ourselves wandering the streets looking for somewhere suitable to eat. Not good when you dont know the area. The second room i booked was for 3 - no bedding was available on our arrival. Breakfast choice was poor. The side plates you were given were stone cold and the food which was luke warm to begin with was freezing by the tine you got it to your table. Very disappointed withe the whole experience really.

Our toilet leaked so water was running all night from the cistern, There was no bevarge items left in the room and the noise from the trains below our rear facing window kept waking us up, for what money we paid for the room for the night i feel it was not value for money

It was a great property. We enjoyed our stay. My only issue at all was the smell in the lobby. It was very strong and for those of us who are sensitive to smell it was too strong. I could never stay in the lobby for long or I would get a headache.

The hotel is beautiful and on a prime spot by the River Thames. We had paid extra to have a river view and the room we were given was on the 3rd floor with the entire view of the river obstructed by trees. We went downstairs to let the manager know we were not happy and they graciously upgraded us to a higher floor with a better room. Some of our things were broken while in their care and they took a very long time with getting us water and toilet paper. Besides these hiccups, we did enjoy our stay.
