This is a gem of a resort. On the most fabulous beach, Napili Bay. I can't imagine a better location to enjoy Hawaii. The room was a bit dated, but the proximity to the beach and the ability to get to the beach just steps away is hard to beat. Be sure to eat at the Beach House restaurant at Napili Kai resort just a short walk down the beach. We were in the lower section of rooms which are closer to the beach and have the best views.

The property is extremely outdated and erosion has killed the best part (the direct beach access is gone). While other properties provide real A/C this one has the loud and ineffective portable coolers just for the bedrooms. Leaving sleepless nights while on vacation. The carpets are from the 1970's and they smell. The appliances are rusty in places they are so old. The screen doors on the sliders are broken. The space is smaller than the other properties nearby and double the proce. The doors that open to the beach cannot be opened from the outside so you are forced to walk around the property to the back door each time you go to the beach. Instead of offering a code to open the door you must wear a bracelet with a "fob" on it to get into the property and into the back door. This is a large black heavy item that does not feel good on the skin in the humid weather. My unit did not have enough cups and glasses so we were having to wash and reuse the few there were. I can go on with more negative comments but I think you get it...

Great property but booking mishap

This was a lovely property. Late checkin instructions were clear and it was very easy to get into our room. The only problem and not sure if the issue is with this site or the property, but we booked a room with loft and upon checkin our room had been downgraded to the apartment style with no acknowledgment or reimbursement for the difference. The room, thankfully, worked for us and I didn’t want to make a stink with the staff in the morning as they were friendly.
