It was a quiet place, very clean and convenient to downtown Gananoque. The staff were friendly and professional. However, the room was crowded and Definitely Not the room in the pictures on their website which I thought I had booked. We were disappointed

We were disappointed with our stay when on arrival to our room after checking in earlier the smell of pot was quite strong. The same thing happened the second day as well. Coffee maker still had old grounds in it from previous guests, we got 1 face cloth and two towels for a 2 person reservation. The shower head pointed at the wall and was very difficult to get under for a proper shower. The bed was rather hard and only offered 2 pillows for each person on a king bed with no extras stored in the room and no additional blankets stored either. The breakfast was quite underwhelming. Although there were hard boiled eggs, there were no other options or meats. Hot water was fantastic and staff provided extra towels on request. The bathroom was newly renovated so clean and fresh. This was barely a 2 star motel. We will not stay here again.

The rooms looked clean but smelled stinky. The coffee machine was broken. No microwave in the room. Breakfast was substandard and crowded. The location is convenient in terms of highway access.

The owners/staff at check in are very nice and welcoming. The room we booked was very clean and felt like a little cabin with the wood details and the fact that it was in the back of the main building. We couldn’t use the pool due to rain but the area of the pool looked decent. Kudos to this small town hotel for their hospitality when I needed a little assistance (my car broke down in their parking lot) and being welcoming as well as having a clean and quiet room. If I were to come back to this area, I would book here again. We walked to a few different food places also which was convenient.
