Comfortable living directly on the beach. Perfect beachfront location! 6 bedroom, 3 bath (1 King, 3 Queens, 2 singles and 1 twin-over-full-over-queen bunk) oceanfront vacation rental. Five of the six bedrooms are oceanview, with sliding glass doors out to porches with plenty of seating. Great Family Vacation gathering spot. Enjoy this newly renovated showplace with gorgeous ocean views. This is the South at its most charming, a premier beach experience. Steps away from a wide sandy beach. 4 covered porches with over 1,000 sq ft of outdoor living space. Ceiling fans, outside charcoal grill and enclosed outdoor shower with changing room. Please: No Smoking in the house. No House Parties! New 55" 4K UHD television! All bedrooms have TV's. Bunk room has desk and chair for remote work/study with very fast Internet. Weekly Rentals are on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Maximum occupancy is 15.

49th reunion

The owners provide everything one could possibly need: well-stocked kitchen, good linens, comfy beds and furniture, large dining table, and a beautiful beach. Edisto is great with zero crowds and just enough to do if you’re looking for a relaxing and very low-key few days away. We hope to return next December for our 50th.

Beach House Perfect

We have stayed here several years, and hope to have several more. The house is lovely and so many things to make it accommodating. Location couldn’t be better. The house and owners made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

Best vacation ever

We stayed for a week, the property was absolutely amazing. The pictures can’t capture how amazing the property is. The owners take very good care of the house no detail is missed. We will definitely return, we have stayed at Edisto several times, and this house was by far the best we have experienced.

Family Vacation

First of all the location of Island Manor was lovely- right on the beach with a very short walk to the ocean! We had a bit of difficulty getting on line to receive our code to the front door. Perhaps it would have been easier to send it earlier. Edisto can have spotty internet service. The upstairs area of the home looked much more updated than downstairs where my husband and I slept.I think some repairs to the leak issues in the ceilings downstairs need to be addressed and painted, as well as the musty smell! Overall the downstairs is in need of repainting and a deep cleaning! I can see why there was mention of not moving furniture as there is no room to walk. Less bulky furniture would be a welcome addition Because the decking on the ocean side needed to be replaced ,we were not able to use it as much due to the babies getting splinters! It’s a lovely setting and with the mentioned updates could be spectacular !

Outstanding! Immaculate! Wont get any closer to the beach. Great dune. 4 porches - all covered. Attention to detail in every room. Coffee provided, well stocked spices. Umbrellas, chairs, beach toys. Fantastic outside shower. Having been a property owner for 25 years in the Outer Banks and dealing with all types of renters and situations, I can honestly say Dean and Beth have gone above and beyond. Only wish there were more openings in 2025.

Above and Beyond

The true measure of a host is not when everything is sunny and pleasant, but it's really when things head south. We stayed at this amazing property when tropical storm Debbie rolled through Edisto, resulting in a power loss and some flooding in parts of the island. Dean, our host, reached out to us several times to help with any issues we were experiencing. We HIGHLY recommend this property, not just for its location and condition, but because of the hosts supporting it. We will definitely come back.

Right on the beach! Really... right there! ⛱️🌊

This has been our 3rd stay at the Island Manor. The owners have added some nice touches, since our last stay. TVs in room. Although, we hardly used them. Too much to enjoy outside. Nice taller table & chairs out on 1 of the 2 decks. Decks are so perfect for just sitting and taking it all in. Wireless charging pad in the living room. USB & plug charging ports in every bedroom. New large tub washer & dryer. I probably have missed something. Just so very accommodating. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Nice sized bathrooms. Lots and lots of beach chairs, boogie boards and toys. Plenty of space to spread out or hang together. In the summer months.....so much fun watching for Loggerhead turtles nesting and hatching! We were waiting for the one just outside of Island Manor to hatch....but, one of the next few renters will get the pleasure. The owners, Dean & Beth are very responsive. Annual Family Vacay

This was our third year at The Island Manor! This house is perfect for our family. Lots of beds, baths and what could be better than sunrise/sunset from the porch? The kitchen has everything you need and the downstairs closet has beach toys! The house is conveniently located to grocery and restaurants. We’ll be back next year to make more memories!

Perfect oasis!

This house was absolutely perfect for our crew! We stayed the first week of June and the weather was wonderful. We were able to walk for coffee and ice cream every day which was an unexpected bonus. The house is big and roomy. The living room allowed for most of our family to gather together in the evenings and the dinning room/kitchen bar allowed for plenty of seating for family dinners together. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and other utensils. The beds were comfy and there were ceiling fans in all rooms (I believe) which is pertinent to my crew. The views were amazing and the double balconies facing the ocean were used frequently. I will warn guests staying May-October, the turtle patrol is strict and will tell you to turn off porch lights and living room lights or draw the blinds closed. It is ocean front and they want to protect those baby turtles, something we didn’t really think about since hatching is typically later in the summer. Dreamy vacation at the Island Manor

This was our first visit to Edisto Beach, and what a fantastic hidden gem! We spent a wonderful week at Island Manor with our family including my mom who is 92. This house is so amazingly close to the beach. She was able to walk down easily and enjoy beach days! The icing on the cake was watching a loggerhead turtle building her nest one evening right in front of our home, a surreal experience! There is something quite special about this house, and we would love to return sometime in the future! Fantastic home and hosts
