Even knowing this was a 3 star going into it I was surprised that 3 star was to high. The smell in the first 2 rooms were unbearable. 3 room was tolerable. By 8:30 most of the breakfast was gone along with plates and bowls.

Staff was very nice. I chose the lower price hotel because they still had one hot item on the breakfast buffet...waffles. Well no waffles on Wednesday. They said they ran out. No waffles on Thursday and Friday. Same story. It was obvious the waffle maker had not been used for some time. Finally on Saturday....Waffles!! If they are only serving a hot choice on the weekends, they should say so. Otherwise everything was good.

Main complaint is blood stains on duvet in which I did not notice till the morning. Then the second night my friends bed had blood stains as well but on the box spring cover. Survived a power outage but first morning breakfast was disappointing as they had a shortage of a lot of items leaving a very limited breakfast.

Basic economy hotel
Basic economy lodgings in suburban Duluth. Check-in process was friendly & efficient. Room was comfortable enough. There's an indoor pool we didn't use. Microwave and mini fridge in room were clean, good. Beds were comfortable. Area around building was treacherous due to construction work on parking lot. Wifi was OK.

TV did not work. Shower/toilet area very small. Waffle maker not functional. No eggs or sausages. Breakfast very spartan. Parking lot was in a large state of disrepair. Desk staff was excellent. A/C was noisy. Curtain needed to be fixed. Noisy guest without shirt in hallway yelling at others in room to let them in.
