The room was very dirty, sticky, cigarette burns on the bathtub, broken furniture, no trash can when we arrived. Not a clean environment at all. Did not feel safe there.

Paper thin walls, next room was blasting music, called the front desk and did nothing. 330 am domestic dispute happened and the cops were called in, for 1hr they were talking in front of my room and i could hear everything. Every time someone uses the stairs or closes the door, everything shakes.

The price is just about as good as you can get. Area good, plenty of restaurants, shops around plus good beach access about 10 minute walk straight down the street. Property is old, however, and room still had that stale cigarette smell.

The location is great near Carlsbad village. There were a few homless people around but they didn't cause any problems. The hotel is clean and it was good for a couple of nights. The price was on point for what you get. Cant expect first class service, free breakfast, and a bunch of amenities when you stay at the lowest price place in the area.

There were fruit flies in my room even though I had no fruit. I also killed a few roaches that came out from under the black box bed frame. Needles to say I won’t be staying in the future.

This is my second time here but this second time was not as good as the first one, the bed hard , smaller than size of the bunk, too many fruit flies, and people smoke a lot on the hallway and by the door even though no smoking sign , the previous room I had the first time was better. Staff are helpful, night staff lady is helpful and kind, thanks.

Dirty nasty never ever put your health in danger

Never ever stay here. Whom ever does good reviews must be blind, under the influence of something. This place is so dirty. Room influence of ants, spiders, roaches, they refused to give us arefund because we sat on 1 bed. Even the beds were full of ants. When i went to the office they couldn't even give us bug spray. They told us there's nothing they can do. Was told us we'd get refunds then the next day told no. This place needs to be blown up/burned down & rebuild. Need people whom care about customers & customer service not care about how many people they can rob off there money & health. The pics they show are a lie. This is an old motel 6, just changed the of it & sold over half the land . Very small parking lot. Not big enough for all the rooms to have cars let along more then 1. Very sad. Location is walkable. Sad when you have to use an epi pen from being bit inside of your room. Manager is rude as all. Hung up on me because i told her they rob people & i was giving nothing but bad reviews about this location . Read the reviews beefier you stay here. Wish i would of. Never ever again. Robbers.

Office personnel were friendly & accommodating Room was clean, great shower just need to remember to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer! As not supplied… may have to request bath towels from front office (which they were more than happy to supply) only one set in room for two
