Is our first time using the hotel facilities and the experience was horrible. We traveled with our 8 yr old granddaughter, building 29b was noisy at night, and to top it off we woke up to a weed smell @ 6 am, we were sleeping, and @ 7:34 am I decided to call the front desk to complain, @ 9:30 am someone from maintenance knock on my door, I explained the situation, his response was; he cannot knock on the guest rooms and was going to report it to the front desk, he had just receive the message 20 minutes ago.
During the day we were tired and upset, so we decided to call the front desk to cancel the night and move to a different hotel, I was offered a refund or switch build, which the hour of the day we were not sure to find a room close by, we were offered to move to building 25 by Michelle per the managers offer, we decline the offer since it was our last night and the only way to happen is to go to the front desk and the building was at the other end of the street, front desk the opposite end of town.
I understand the idea of being open to all budgets but do not agree to not having a front desk at the buildings or nearby, Mt Olympus Resort, has bought the little hotel around the resort and the carpet is dirty, and dated, but the room is ok was painted, kinda clean.
The towels are so small and do not look up to a resort quality, I will keep visiting the Water Park like I do every year but never again reserve a room here, especially with children, I wish could post pictures.
