There is railroad tracks on the backside of the hotel where our room was. The train went through several times during the evening and early morning making sleep very difficult. Not an ideal situation for people staying in the rooms in the backside of the hotel. Also being a pet friendly hotel, not allowing our dog in the lobby was kind of inconvenient.

Day clerk super nice. Night clerk not so much. I bought(and ate) a candy bar from the little pantry and then realized it expired in September 2023. Pillows sucked; air conditioning way too loud and the staff around there seemed a little sketchy (not day clerk) Hoping I don’t have food poisoning; won’t stay there again

Large clean rooms, well stocked with toiletries fridge and ice maker. Hotel is directly beside a train track. Although close in proximity to all historic attractions, it is a considerable distance to walk to a safe street crossing where there are traffic lights. We waited for a break in the traffic but it is a very busy street. The pool area was very nice and had comfortable seating. Once you get across the street all the historic attractions are walkable. And the hop on hop off trolley is directly beside the hotel so no need to cross the street to buy tickets and take the tour.
