Things started off well. I even received two texts after checking in to make sure everything was okay, which I felt was very nice. The problem occurred in the middle of the night when I woke up and felt like my feet were on fire. Turns out there was at least one bedbug, which I found and killed. I experienced multiple bites. Upon telling management in the morning via text, the manager came into the room and started pulling apart the bed looking for the bed bug. My husband asked him to please wait until I came out of the bathroom so I can show him and the evidence remains untouched. He did not listen. After showing him the bug and blood he said it's a baby. He did not say anything else. He never said I'm sorry this happened to you. He kept emphasizing we will get a refund which is great and all but there was no empathy toward my family and I, especially me who was the one who got bit. Mind you my 1 and 3 year old were present in the room. The manager man actually got upset that my husband got upset at him for seemingly downplaying my experience by calling the bed bug a baby as if what I went through was no big deal. Horrible customer service.
