I was actually unsure about this place, but was somewhat surprised by the style of the place because it is NOT what you've become accustomed to with hotels. Very different feel, almost a barn feel to it. Very Wayfair kind of decorating. Bathroom shower was very spacious and offered plenty of hot water and water pressure. High ceilings, different bed setup by using a wooden frame, eliminating the need for a boxspring mattress. Just overall pleasantly surprised and I'd stay here again.

The room door deadbolt was broken. There was no cell service in the room so I had to go outside to check text messages and to make calls. The staff told me that even they have poor or no reception. They now do valet by cell phone which is ridiculous because you have to go outside to request your car. I have stayed at the Quirk about 5 times when I am in Richmond on business but never again
The room was spacious, stylish, clean and had features for comfort and functionality. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The rooftop area was great!
I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Thai hotel. When I first arrived, the room wasn’t throughly cleaned. The sheets and comforter has stains, the toilet had hair and the shower was dirty as well. They did move me but someone came into my room while I was out and went through all my personal items. I asked to review security footage to see who has entered and was told they would check it and get back me. When I followed up I was told that they actually don’t have any cameras on the floors or any way to check if the room has been entered. The front desk staff was nice but I didn’t feel safe staying there and there was no resolution for my damaged items. They do have a cute lobby with a restaurant and bar but the service was pretty slow.
Front desk and bar staff were great. I did ask front desk to check with engineers/facilities crew there about the room A/C's and how the thermostats are set because the bed linen was damp from what I could only associate with the the A/C setting. Otherwise the room was great.
Hip, beautifully designed hotel in a great downtown neighborhood. Great amenities including large exquisitely decorated rooms, cool lobby cocktail lounge, restaurant, and cafe, and a rooftop bar with great views.
The property is boutique and pays exquisite attention to detail. It's a little feminine but it's quality, which is why I regularly stay there vs. other places.

It’s the Grand Budapest Hotel! A real trippy place with a mid century motif. Super clean. Great restaurant and bar. Wonderful staff. Art gallery in lobby. Highly recommend.
