Only one buffet for so many people Long wait for checking in and out. Not happy overall. Will not come here again

The commons areas are very pretty and well kept. The hotel does give beach access. When checking in they give no guidance.They have one customer service office with one employee. That one employee does ask for help from supervisors. But that one employee has the schedule of activities, a map of the hotel, makes the dinner reservations, transportation arrangements, takes all hotel complaints. The rooms are not great. We had to change rooms 3 time. 1st room: Sliding door didn't lock, TV and lamp did not work, the bathroom did not have toilet paper. 2nd room the safe did not work, A/C blew hot air, there was mold on a chair, and a roach. 3rd room was better. The staff is not willing to help, even the bartenders are rude. From all of the staff in the whole hotel only 3 tried assisting us. The evening Customer Service lady and assistant manager tried helping. One evening bartender made actual drinks. The drinks in the rest of the hotel have pre-made drinks/slushy type.They do not even carry top shelf liquor. The most top shelf they had was Jose Cuervo and Absloute The food was sub-par. (Take your own seasonings). The food at the restaurants is better than the buffets.

It is my second time staying at this resort. The place needs a little maintenance but other than that my stay was awsome.

El Hotel tiene una facilidad excelente, buenas piscinas, buenos restaurantes, personal atento, buena limpieza, el unico detalle es la mala coordinación en el area de check-in, estuvimos 11/2 de hora esperando que nos atendieran.

3 days in a row they were working on our balcony scraping paint and could not sleep in then we had a hard time trying to get some one to clean it up so that we didn't drag in the paint chips to our room there was cockroach and bed bugs in the room they came and sprayed in the room at the door way and that was it. We will be going to a different property on the next trip.

Chose another HOTEL I reserved a double room for 7 days. I requested a pool view and was offered an upgrade of $200 for ocean view which we agreed to pay. The 1st day the toilet wasn’t working so I reported to get services and the whole day went by and no fix. So I reported again. 2nd day it rained the bathroom ceiling was leaking. It was report it. I returned to the room after more than 8 hours the ceiling was just wipe down and the toilet was still not fixed. Also they were ants that was coming from drain trap in the bathroom. This was the ultimate scare and final straw for us on our last night there as I step off the bed I immediately heard a loud crack before I could realize what was happening the floor tiles were literally cracking and lifting out of place before my eyes. My husband panic and immediately shouted DONT MOVE DONT MOVE. We taught we were experiencing an earthquake. My husband calls front desk to explain what had occurred and they responded by laughing at us. We went to the front desk and we explained what had happened and in return we were laughed at again. So I showed the photos of the floors and he than realized it was not a joke. At this point it was last day of our stay and all we wanted was a refund for the upgrade fee. He refuse and we were brushed off. In addition the employees were extremely rude. The food was also terrible.

The food was HORRIBLE

Rooms are clean, some staff is very nice but some are rude. Food is horrible, reserve restaurants are nasty and they don’t have AC units . Night shows are the best but needs more supervision. Overall I don’t recommend it

-Unfriendly staff. -The cleaning of the rooms was not the best. -Too much noise (shouting) from the staff near the rooms. -At the buffet, they made one of our family members move from a clean table to another that was dirty and without cutlery. -I would not return or recommend this hotel to anyone I know. We have visited Punta Cana and we have stayed in other hotels and the experience had been excellent but this time it was not.

The property was Beautiful, the food was different but edible. The only thing that I did not really like is how the resort only pushes you towards the vendors they wanted you to purchase from. We wanted to be amongst locals, eat local food and couldn't get that information from the hotel staff. And if English is your primary language you'll have a hard time at this resort. It was not very friendly with US touirst

Room Noisy (a/c & minifridge , outside) food buffet poor, bar drinks cheap they don’t want to use even a local brand you have to buy it , no entertainment show, 2 restaurants for appointments (Mexican & sea food and meat). closed for no reason. People reserve pool chair with towel and show up 4 hours late no enough Sunshade. 🤔

The staff was the best; friendly and relaxed. The architectural design was beautiful with arches, rod iron, and stain glass. Loved having a balcony. The beach was perfect: soft white sand and just the right wave height for bouncing around in. You can walk for miles along the beach. Many of the guests were local multigenerational families with well-behaved children that obviously were not overindulged nor neglected. Healthy food at the buffets with numerous choices. We started skipping breakfast because the buffet is too tempting and induces overindulgence. The rock wall and trapeze were a blast. Not a lot of English spoken at the hotel which I liked – forced me to make use of my Spanglish (you can also download google translate for free and have conversations with your phone). WiFi worked well. There were activities we did not get around to trying like the casino, the gym, swim up bars and disco. We took a snorkeling tour and chose the one less boozy and it was perfect. The hostess was a living babel fish; greeting and speaking to all the guests in 5 different languages. The folks on the boat had everyone up and dancing. Held a star fish and a sting ray in my hand. There were lots of other side trip activities we could have taken, but I couldn’t drag myself away from the beauty of the beach.
