This resort has so much potential but unfortunately seems as though staff doesn’t care enough. Not sure if they were short staffed but the service was lacking. Staff seemed miserable with the exception of the servers in the buffet area. Food was hit or miss. Some days it tasted good and fresh, other nights it tasted reheated. Even the juices were really watered down. I got one drink from the swim up bar and never went back. The bartender seemed annoyed and ignored me for 5 minutes before a younger gentleman asked me what I’d like. Service was also really slow in the restaurants. Our first night there we waited almost an hour to sit down at the steak house restaurant. After being sat down, it still took another 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge we were there. Similar experience with lunch the following day. We sat down for lunch and no one came by our table to give us anything to drink. I had to find the woman who sat us and ask for a bottle of water. Also be prepared for stares and cat calling from the workers that maintain the facility. It was disgusting, as though they’d never seen women in a swimsuit and coverup! Definitely wasn’t the worst experience but I’ve been to other resorts in Punta Cana and had far better service/ experience. Will not be returning again.

The outside grounds and pool area was nicely kept up and clean. The majority of the staff was very nice with the exception of a few grumpy ones . We had requested a room with two queen beds and when we checked in at 11:30 pm we were given a room with a king size bed for 3 people. No other rooms were available so we had to wait for them to bring in a twin. Communication with the staff was very difficult most only spoke Spanish. Bathroom in room you could tell was never cleaned and lack of towels was scarce. We had to call for three days straight just to get extra pillows. Food and drinks were ok. Several groups of teenagers on break that came in around 4:30 very noisy. Elevator was broken for several days near the room and you could hear it beeping all night. Several people had reported it broken but it seemed that nothing was urgent enough to be fixed.
