Great location near the Arc de Triomphe and a metro stop right at the hotel. Beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant with excellent views of the city's famous landmarks. Very clean and surprisingly quiet given the high level of activity in the neighborhood. Very friendly and professional staff. Fair price for the location and amenities.
The staff was beyond helpful and courteous. Pascal at the concierge’s desk went way out of his way to assist us with restaurant advice, train reservations etc. The entire staff of the hotel should be commended for their outstanding service. The roof deck was also amazing with panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe.
This hotel represents the classic elegance of Paris in days gone by. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the location is perfect, and the customer service is beyond comparison. This was our second stay at this hotel, and I will stay over and over again.
Wonderful hotel close to the arch of triumph and many nice sidewalk cafes
My daughter and I stayed here for a week and were very happy to find that our room was as good as the photos on the web. The hotel has been owned by the same family for a 100 years, and they have instilled impeccable attention to detail to customer service in all of their staff. Everyone from the bell hop, front desk, maid, wait staff, and concierge were wonderful, and almost everyone spoke english -- and they didn't try to make you feel bad for speaking english. The concierge staff were especially helpful and recommended awesome places to go to dinner, and could assist with tickets to the Eiffel Tower or wherever you wanted to go. The bed was super comfortable, and next to the bed, they had a converter box so you could plug in your electronic devices (a nice unexpected detail). The roof top terrace was awesome. The terrace has a view of the Arc de Triumph and Eiffel Tower, which tells you how close you are to all the major tourist attractions. The terrace also has a champagne bar with the best cocktails I've ever had (a pricey treat -- but very good). The breakfast buffet was included, and was outstanding as well. I would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
We were so impressed by the excellent customer service from every single hotel employee. Our room was breathtaking, and we could see the tower from both our bed and from the large terrace. The room was very large by European standards, and the hotel was beautiful in such a classy way that takes a person back to a more opulent and classic Paris. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Raphael again on any future trips to Paris.

If you haven't already heard of this hotel from it's cult film references (Wes Anderson's Hotel Chevalier) or star legends (Serge Gainsbourg). Then you're missing out. This Hotel is always teeming with celebrities, amazing food, beautiful decor, and a roof top view that is nothing short of jaw dropping. And to top it off, the staff is nothing short of magical. Stay here for the ultimate Paris experience which will give you something to talk about for years to come.
I usually stay at 5 star hotels and have to say that this hotel is one of our favorites, with the quaintness of the decor, for which gives you an excellent example of what you would expect from a true Paris Hotel and special way the staff treat you and the location is great. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, that likes to have a extremely comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel staff is very professional and easy to get along with and first rate. Truly a 5 Star Hotel.
