Construction noise through the day, followed up by early morning banging and noise, around 1am each night on the 1st floor. Couldn't tell if it was a staff member or construction. A/C broken for a day or so. Great location, but hotel conditions leave a lot to be desired. They should have offered guests a free breakfast or something of the like.

I am 160 cm tall and weight 55 kg but the bathroom was so small I had to sit sideways on the toilet. The shower stall was so tiny that I kept hitting my elbow on the water control turning it off or moving it to the wrong temperature. The shower curtain smelled like old urine and mold, and didn’t even reach to the floor. The carpeting was in the worst condition that I’ve ever seen in any hotel. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and thank goodness they had air conditioning. It was walkable to Notre Dame Cathedral. I would not stay here again though especially given the high price.

Great Value, Clean, Convenient, Helpful Staff

This is a hidden gem . . . comfortable, clean, safe accommodations a one minute walk from a Metro stop with staff available 24/7 (bilingual). Bed was comfortable and street view was appreciated. The kind Asian woman who checked me in gave me a free room upgrade without my even asking! Room was very quiet despite being on a traversed street. Luggage storage was offered for free after checkout, greatly appreciated as times do not always line up. I would stay here again and recommend D'win to others with just one caveat--there is no lift/elevator, only stairs. That did not bother me at all but if one has mobility issues, that could be an issue.

This is a very very old building that is still being allowed to operate. 1. No Elevator: The hotel does not have an elevator so be prepared to lug your luggage. The staircase is straight out of the "winchester mystery house. Super dangerous. 2. breakfast area is very very small. I did not have breakfast so cannot comment on this. 3. Rooms are terribly small. The shower stall barely fits you in. WIth a curtain at the back..so water drips out. 4. The outdoor sitting area that is prominently shown in the pictures is a fire escape area and is also a smoming area. During my visit i found construction workers smoking there. 5. Some of the staff are helpful some are mean. They told me that I can have free coffee but I cannot drink it in the breakfast area and that I should wait in the smoking area. 6. The hotel is located right opposite a bar called "The Raidd" bar which if you Google it is an erotic gay bar. Main issue folks are partying all night outside so you cannot sleep if you are a light sleeper. 7. Bed and mattresses are old. Located next to metro entrance.

The hotel is in a great central location, 3 minutes from the nearest metro which is perfect as a base for exploring the city. We had a triple room which was basic but spacious and totally adecuate for a short trip. Beds were comfy. Our room faced the street so there was some street noise in the evening (saturday night) but overall quite peaceful given its in the middle of a buzzing area.

We stayed in rooms 303. The setup was perfect for us - two rooms one bathroom. The whole place is a bit tired but we felt that it was good value for money. The location is great. The heating was too much. It was either full on or off. Since it was zero degrees out it was a difficult choice to make! The staff were fantastic

Perfectly Paris

We had a great stay and a very comfortable room overlooking the street below. Being from America we were surprised at the smallness of the showers but they were very sufficient. We didnt realize that the A/C wasn't in our control which was a little inconvenient to have to go ask for an adjustment. Not the end of the world but a learning experience. The staff was always welcoming and very friendly as we came and went on our way. The location was PERFECT for exploring authentic Paris and foodie stops nearby. We wanted a boutique feel for our first trip to Paris rather than a "big box" hotel and we were very pleased with our experience.
