Non-smoking room smells like an ashtray. Carpet needs to be replaced. Poor Housekeeping practices.

Some doors were badly hung, making the locks hard to work. The bed was extremely hard and the pillows provided no support.

I did not like housekeeping. It should be everyday but it was not.

loved the bed, not too hard or soft, the shower was filthy "gross". staff was very nice and helpful, the place is a bit run down- carpet has holes, but that is reflected in the price- just need to clean it a bit more.

I do not expect much given the level of hotel; it was generally OK. The front staff was friendly and courteous. The fact that bathroom door does not close all the way or stay open bothered me, though. What I am the most upset about is that the cleaning staff threw away my personal toiletries. I usually bring travel size packs of face wash, lotion, etc., and since I don't finish entire packs in one use, I put them in plastic cups, etc., cover them with tissue, etc., and leave a note "Please do not throw away." I never had a problem in any level of hotels (2-5 star hotels) in the past, but this time, the cleaning staff threw them away. I was left with no skin care product for rest of my stay. Not only that, it looked like s/he moved around our stuff a lot. I appreciate cleaning, but the staff should be trained to leave guests' personal belongings as intact as possible. They should not be tidying up personal stuff like toiletries, paperwork, notes, etc. left on table or on the suitcase, etc., let alone throwing them away. They should simply clean around them. I felt violated and unsafe.

The first room they gave me hotel door wasn't even closed. Door was broken off hinges. And art work missing off walls next room was dirty and hair on shower walls stains on white comforter. We literally slept on top of our blankets we brought on top of comforters. Won't stay their again

They were very friendly and quick to fix the situation and very quite place , slept like a baby. Loved it

You know the episode on Seinfeld with the car reservation? Well, this hotel did that to me.

There was a gutter loose outside of my room that woke me up from an all night drive.

Check in was nice and easy. This Hotel needs an overhaul. Air conditioner did not work right, room stayed stuffy. Turned temp down to cool off and it would work for about 10 min. then stop working. Hole in door peep ho;e was covered with a tissue so when someone knocked on the door at 3:54am it was startling. Coke machine has been out of order for a while on our floor. Breakfast - DO NOT EAT. Apple juice watered down warm - I do not even think the machine was on to keep it cool. Orange juice was warm. Ate next door at McDonalds the next day. Woke up at midnight the last night we stayed - bugs crawling all over the walls. Stay in your vehicle instead of wasting 129.00 per night at that place. Tech game that weekend so alot of the hotels were booked or inflated their prices. This was the worst hotel we have ever experienced.

I have stayed at this hotel since it was built. It has always been my "go to" place when in Lubbock. It has been about a year since I have stayed there. I was very disappointed at the condition and cleanliness. Room was dirty, holes in the wall, etc. It is not what it used to be. I checked in at 10:30PM. Signed the registration form, was handed the key cards and off I went. Shortly before midnight I received a call from the front desk(different staff) stating that I had not signed the registration form. I said I was already in bed and would take care of it in the morning. He was rather insistent and said he would be up for me to sign it. It took me two hours to get back to sleep after this. This hotel has been good to me over the years, but it is extremely obvious that something has changed. Time to find a new place.

Room carpet had stains. Old and needs to be updated. A last chance motel at best, not a place to bring the family.
