Amazing property with spectacular entry through a mountain tunnel to the ocean. Great staff, very friendly and caring. Overpriced for the size and quality of the rooms with a plunge pool. The room service food was not great but the restaurants were amazing. Overall a first class experience.

Visited June 27-Jul 01, 2019. The Resort at Pedregal is amazing! (now named Waldorf Astoria) Every single employee my wife and I interacted with were genuinely friendly, pleasant, and just happy. Prepare to make new friends of the staff, they will greet you by name everywhere you go. It was a bit over-whelming. The rooms are awesome with a great ocean view, plunge pool, fireplace, and deep soaking tub. We have stayed at other resorts (in US and Mexico) where it was difficult to get a lounger by the pool, and order drinks... not here, we walked down to the pool and were instantly greeted, and set-up with loungers, umbrellas adjusted to our liking, provided with bucket of ice waters (which they refreshed with new ice often) drink orders taken and even offered complimentary appetizer samples. The restaurant on the cliff was amazing also, you get an amazing view and a delicious personalized dinner experience. Everywhere you go, you are greeted by name. Even coming back from a night in town, in the middle of the night, the guard and workers are there to welcome you. Everything was perfect. Will absolutely go back (when we can save up again- as this place is very expensive, but so worth it) If you find availability here, book this place. You will absolutely love it!

I have never been so excited to write a review of a hotel. There are a few reasons for this. First, this hotel is not to be believed. it is the absolute best hotel in Cabo and one of the best in the world. Secondly, I am anxious to thank and recognize every staff member that I cam into contact with at this paradise. I have been to cabo well over a dozen times. I have stayed at Esperanza, Las Ventanas, Hacienda, and unfortunately Villa La Estancia and Pueblo Bonito. Before I came to Pedregal Las Ventanas was my absolute favorite. I love that place and it is superb, but Pedregal is better. Our vacation started weeks before I arrived. My concierge Gino, who i believe only knows the word yes and of course, because that is the main words that came out of his mouth during my stay, made sure that all of our pre trip arrangements were made. Actually i would email Gino and he would take about 5 minutes to respond. He may not sleep at night because he truly wants to make sure that the guests experience is perfect. Every reservation and appointment I wanted was made. Then we got to Cabo!! We entered through there private tunnel to a paradise of a view directly to the ocean. We were greeted with Margaritas and Gino who told us to leave our luggage and immediately had someone take us to our room. The Room: The room was gorgeous. It was not quite as large as Las Ventanas but I preferred the layout and amenities. We received a tequila bottle, and other free items. The ro
Hotel was conveniently located to the central part to San Lucas in the exclusive Pedregal area. Great view of the pacific with equally great facilities and service. The 1 point negative is the mediocre food. There are two main restaurants at the resort; Don Manuel's and El Farallon. Don Manuel's serves traditional Mexican food but again just mediocre. The best thing to say is that it is convenient. El Farallon has unbelievable views being situated right along the water with waves crashing just below the seating area but the mainly seafood restaurant prepares the food as if it were in the 90's...meaning just grilled with salt and pepper on a plate with some garnish... not worth the $100 (entree only) price. I would stay again because it is such a beautiful resort with excellent staff but would plan on eating off premises as much as possible.
It was an amazing experience. The hotel was great everything was amazing. The price compared to other resorts is too much, not to say that everything wasn't great but the price was too high.

Pedregal is luxurious, private, extremely well-kept and in the perfect location—overlooking the wild waves of the Pacific, yet just a few minute walk off the property takes you to the town full of restaurants, shopping, and marina at the Sea of Cortez. Staff members feel more like close friends and are warm, kind, hospitable, helpful, and go out of their way to meet every need. Our concierge, Fernanda, took care of everything for us. The entire crew greet you with a smile at ever encounter or in passing. They remember your name, and seem genuinely interested in your well-being. Our babysitter Jocelyn made our two-year old feel comfortable and provided many fun activities. We can't wait to return to Pedregal. Similar to the Breakers resort in Palm Beach—dare I say eeons better. Our room in bldg. 6 had a completely shaded pool ensuite and excellent view, which was a nice escape fro the sun when needed.
If you don't have a good time here something is wrong with YOU! The staff waits on your every need to make sure you feel relaxed and special. The views are amazing. Every detail of the grounds, rooms, restaurants, pools is absolutely on point. If you can afford it here it'll be the best experience you can get from a resort in cabo. We left to try a different resort and now we are kicking ourselves. Might even go back just to use the spa for a day before we go home.
I love this resort so exclusive. The staff is amazing very friendly and extremely helpful. I had a great time they give you a complimentary guacamole and coronas everyday totally cool. It was definitely the best place to stay at in cabo. One thing I didn't like was the breakfast it was definitely over priced, i suggest going into town instead you get way better food for a quarter of the price. Will definitely come back and stay here.
