Property is beautiful. The staff is very warm and conscientious. Make no mistake, however, their goal is to sell timeshares and attract club members. The management and concierge services are not consistent with typical hotels at this price point. They could not successfully coordinate anything and made excuses/pointed fingers.. Just infuriating.

The property was designed very well with amenities and rooms conveniently located. Beach access as well downtown, marina, etc being close enough to walk. The one-bedroom unit has great space with a massive balcony. I vacation 6 to 7 times per year at nice properties. This is my overall favorite.
Hotel staff was great and customer service was exceptional. Also, the hotel is highly secured. The resort is in a great location just 10 min away from Downtown Cabo.

Tried to cancel due to medical emergency and payed full amount.
We had no access to the beach; no A/C for 2 days, no hot water for 4 days and the elevators did not work. We should have been contacted by management and told to reschedule or cancel our stay. At bare minimum they should have compensated us for not providing minimum standard accommodations. We are not coming back and neither is our extended family and friends
When we arrived our room was not what we expected. It was small and dark and dirty. The hotel staff apologized but wouldn't move us. There was only one sheet on the bed no other blankets. The ac broke twice when we were there. The lamp gave my husband and I each an electric shock when we tried to turn it off. The staff came and removed the lamp but didn't replace it so we were stuck with bright overhead lighting. The free wifi doesn't work well in the room only by the pool. I felt like any need we had the answer was always "sorry but no" The hotel made our trip feel "low budget." My husband and I always stay at amazing hotels so this was a bummer. The pool was a yellow/grey color and felt and looked dirty. I would consider this hotel a 2-3 star. The 4 and a half stars it has received doesn't seem realistic. The reviews online are very misleading because that is partially the reason we chose this hotel. I would not stay there again

I had a nice vacation at Villa La Estancia. The best part of the stay is the large rooms, I had a 1 Bedroom Villa and it was really nice. The one thing that was VERY annoying was the ladies asking me to watch a "Real Estate Opportunity" she said its not a time share we promise! My girlfriend missed her flight and I wanted to see the prices of the fractional as I was interested.. However, it turned out to be a timeshare opportunity and it was extremely annoying. They gave me some tickets to some boat rides and a party but when we went to go do the stuff when my girlfriend arrived we realized they made it for the wrong day ! Our tickets were expired and they wouldn't take them lol. Whatever you do don't agree to the timeshare pitch, its not even a real timeshare, you only get it for 30 years. I blame myself for being an idiot and agreeing to watch their preso, I will never be suckered like that again, it left a bad taste in my mouth for this place. They also took forever to check me in on my arrival I waited until almost 5PM for my room to be ready even though Orbitz posts check-in at 3PM. The food was good and the pool is nice. I also heard from other owners that the staff is not as friendly as they used to be. They weren't rude but they didn't go out of their way or seem all that thrilled to have you there. I might stay here again if I get a really good deal, however there are a lot of other places to stay so I might not if there is a better deal at another property.
Right on the beach, clear view of the Arc, very quiet and relaxing! Exactly what I was looking for. Very attentive, kind and helpful staff. I'm looking into buying a timeshare because I loved it so much!
Amazing resort get a room with a view. We loved it so much we will be back soon!! If you are not an owner you do not get all the same perks, just an FYI if u book through orbitz or expiedia. The staff was nice and helpful, the only bad experience was the elevators were slow.
The Villa Estancia is great and part of 2 other villas. There is recoprocity with one of the other villas but when we went to the Villa del Arc they didn't provide towels?! The beach is swimmable most of the time. There are interesting vendors on the beach and would recommend getting a $20 or $25- massage on the beach instead of the resort. The food is ok but better in town. The facilities are very nice. The room is clean and bathroom good except there is no exaust for the steam from the shower?

Everything was perfect from the moment we stepped out of the car. The valet's were friendly and helpful and the free valet service was a nice bonus. The front desk were helpful and efficient. The food at the restaurants was very good and waitstaff very attentive. The staff -- house cleaning, pool service, waiters, gardners, spa employees -- were always authentically friendly and helpful. The location was nice -- close enough to walk along the beach to town but far enough away to be safely from the chaos and noise. Loved it all and will definitely be going back.

Tropical Storm Lidia attracted little international attention, falling as it did in between devastating Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Yet it took quite a toll on Los Cabos with its 65 mph winds (just 10 mph short of hurricane-strength) and left 27 inches of rainfall, more than has been seen in the last 24 years. Thankfully, the destination recovered quickly and most hotels, including Villa La Estancia, suffered no lasting effects. The VLE guest experience remains as unique and lovely as always and we look forward to another awesome season.
Hello David, you're mistaken about VIlla La Estancia being a timeshare property. It is a resort condominium that is privately owned by full and fractional deeded owners.
