When we checked in, we were greeted by a sign saying the water in the hotel would be turned off from noon-4 pm. Not ideal given we hoped to take a quick shower before a late afternoon meeting. Then to add insult to injury, there was no hot water in the shower the next morning. I'd like a manager to contact me to discuss reduction in the room charge. Thanks.

My son and I were planning on staying here for a Hornets game. Because of the smell and condition we ended up driving home and never even slept in the room. The room smelled like smoke and weed. Someone covered the smoke detector with plastic. The room was very old and dated. The pool table in the lobby has a nasty stain of something on it, the pool stick are beyond being able to use anymore. The shuffleboard should be thrown out. The toilet looked like it had Pee in it. The guy at the desk was on the phone for a long time while three people stood at the counter waiting to be checked in. So many issues with this place........ Don't book here, go to the springhill suites charlotte city center instead. This place needs major work.

Not great, I’ve stayed at other Alofts and this one was surprisingly run down. The parking was confusing, the room’s A/C worked but it was very noisy (like maybe it had a plastic bag trapped in it.) While the staff was super nice and accommodating, the check in process was sluggish with a long line. Just not what I expected from Aloft.
