No Happy Check In.
We booked a stay for 1 night coming off a cruise. We realized we arrived early, 9 AM, & that we would have to wait. Check in was not till 3pm. They told us there were plenty of standard rooms available, but we were waiting on a suite. Nearly five hours later, we get a room & it was a standard room, not a suite. I understand they were trying to give us an upgrade that we didn't ask for, but after nearly 5 hours & only got a standard room when we could have accepted that type of room much earlier, well it was just SO wrong. I will not book there again for they try to make me feel that they got me in before 3pm, I should be grateful, when they had that standard room ready hours before. I so enjoy waiting in a lobby for hours, NOT!! This kind of service is just awful. Totally BAD!
