Good property and great staff. The rooms are a little dated but we didn't spend much time inside. Super convenient to everything.

There are ***crocodiles**** in the laguna and the staff doesn't warn you until you see one of their few, not very well placed, signs. Our room was right in front of the laguna and neither front desk nor concierge told us anything. There are no signs in the lobby or on the way to the room and in the morning we walked outside and stepped right into the laguna without knowing. We saw the signs later, right where they give out the kayaks! The amenities are nice, area is pretty and quiet. Perfect for a couple get-away. The pool was very cold but it was January and cloudy most of the days, so we are sure in the summer and with hot sunny days it's perfect. Front desk staff is not that friendly, the best are the restaurant staff and waiters, Yire was our waitress most of the days and she was lovely. Giovanni at the pool bar was very friendly as well. We didn't like that they try to force you to visit their other hotels (Cancun basically has become a tourist war between hotels and the government tourism agency... when we told them we weren't buying tours from them or going to the other hotel they were not very happy with it or with us... hard for them not to show it in their faces...). Food was good, the tepanyaki was cool, beverages were ok. Overall it as a good choice, the hotel is lovely and we recommend it, but watch out for the crocs! We saw a few.

This resort was quite nice, but on the small size . It did not have an ocean view which was alright with us. Nice and quiet. Our room was nice and clean and even had a cooking area if one wanted to fix one's own meal. The food was filling and I did not starve. I would even stay there again. Now for the dislikes. When you check in there is no communication from the front desk to the visitor. I was never informed about going to the beach across the road, heard that there were two sister hotels across the road, and was never informed what was available at these resorts or if they ever existed. If they do, they keep it a big secret ! . A little pamphlet would be fine explaining what is available, would be great! Hotels in Cancun always have their pool water on the cold side. I think this is to discourage one from swimming in the pool, and their pool was cold. If I wanted to swim in cold water I can stay right here and swim in Lake Erie and save thousands of dollars. Bring your own salt and pepper as it is seldom on the table. They need someone to teach them how to make pan cakes, Their deserts were fancy and not to my liking. Some cookies, cake, donuts and pie would be nice. They get there pop out of three liter bottles. I don't have to tell you how it gets after it sits around for awhile, FLAT! A fountain service would be much better. I believe that I only seen ice cream one day while staying there. Corona is the beer that they have no XX that I know of.

The food staff was great (Buffett and restaurant), very friendly and accommodating

The staff at the hotel we were at are awesome, but when we went to the sister hotel ( royal ) the staff was as extremely rude

Just a wonderful staff always so helpful. Will return for more

Hotel es old not well maintained, food is simple and low quality Staffers are friendly Has deteriorated the image and service tremendously

The staff made this stay very enjoyable. Everyone was friendly and inviting. Not a party hotel. It’s prey laid back if you want to relax.

Nice hotel close to the lagoon. No swimming in the lagoon but access by boat or shuttle to other sister resorts. Excellent food and staff. Fun program while we were there. Boat ride to the beach was awesome. Only complaint was brown water in shower probably due to some of their remodel projects and AC didn't work very well first day. They were right on top of it and had it much better the second day.

Access to other properties but all-inclusive did not apply there. Sales agents were pushy. The tour/excursion concierge was very helpful.

Sucks. Bad food, cheap alcohol, service not that great. And its not on the beach. Was at mandala beach club and there was a shooting within feet from us.

If you can get tbe all inclusive package for $170 (for 4 people) GRAB IT! This is a great place for a couple nights stay.

No too good expirience...many issues in only 3 days...

Everything seem to be old. It says you have wifi which is partially true cos the wifi only works in common areas like lobby and restaurant so you have to leave your room and go to d lobby just to get your phone or laptop connected to d wifi which is not convenient. Quality of events in the hotel is pretty basic and d food is just ok

Amedeo the bar tender was awsome. The entertainment was awsome. The front desk person Natalie was very rude. The only place to swim is the pool, not a beach front property.
