Can’t say enough positive things about the experience my girlfriend and I have had on each of our visits here. The food, the staff, the cleanliness, the beauty of this place and all of the associated amenities and events will make any other destination pale in comparison. Particularly the incredible staff of RIU Palace Las Americas - they consistently go above and beyond to make sure guests are having a wonderful experience. Huge kudos to Miguel, who is the definition of friendliness and brings excitement and fun with him wherever he goes. We are repeat visitors and will definitely be back again.

Everything was fantastic other than the mildew smell in our suite and the hallway. Also, really rough bathroom towels...though the pool towels are very soft!
I should have paid more attention to the negative feedbacks about the hotel before booking. First of all, the hotel is not a 4 star hotel to me! The attached pictures can confirm that. The AC unit was so loud and inefficient and wasn’t able to cool down the room enough. Rooms weren’t clean enough and signs of water leaks were visible on the ceiling. One of the bathroom sinks was clogged. Furnitures were old and fainted. Staff at the front desk were not accommodating and don’t know what a good customer service is. Sebastian at the front desk was pretty rude and unprofessional. We asked to see his supervisor/boss and he avoided it by saying that he is the supervisor. One of our friends had a family emergency and had to check out earlier than expected and the hotel charged us a full amount for replacing that person with another friend. In other words, the hotel didn’t allow us to put someone else in the room (instead of the one who had already paid in full and had to leave early) without paying the full cost of one person. One of the staff at the front desk was sick and was working with a mask on and was still dealing with customers. We got super sick with flu symptoms the last day we were there. The hotel doesn’t seem to follow the necessary health protocols. The food is meh and the drinks are very cheap and watered down significantly. If you care about good customer service, your health and are not willing to pay unethical fees avoid the hotel.
The service level is always outstanding in all areas. Everyone really wants to make your stay wonderful and they do.The restaurants all have unique menus and the food is great.Once again we had a wonderful time.

Hotel is nice and clean. All staff are nice and friendly . Food is good especially the buffet and the steak house. The only thing I don't like is the room is so humid. Other than that we received excellent service during our stay.
