This place looks nice from the pictures, but is is like a slum. My room had almost no furniture, everything was old and outdated. Nothing on the walls. The ONE window in the room opened to a dusky corner with a water heater or something. There was a sliding glass door that was all the natural light I could get, but it opened to a courtyard and I had no privacy. The restaurant was nice, but it was French which I wasn't looking for. There was construction the first night. The wifi was weak. I was traveling alone and I felt unsafe. It's close to bus stops, but it isn't on hotel row. I went to the lobby and there were some scary people there. I spent 1 night and left the next day. It's by the water, but not a beach. It had almost no amenities. The room was obviously a former apartment and the door to the other room was locked, but I could hear people in there! I

Was nice place to stay for the money. Outside grounds could be cleaner

Rooms are outdated and the hallway noise is terrible....everything echoes on the marble floors and you hear everything all night long.

Do not waste your money here and get trapped in the automatic pay for one dat stay even though you can it within the first 10min in there like I did! This hotel is dirty old and falling apart. It is not a safe place to stay health wise. The AC had mold in it and the floor was cracked/dirty. The bathroom window was held open with a pipe. It's disgusting! Please save your money! They did not want to refund me or cancel my stay either of 5days. DO NOT STAY HERE! People infront of me canceled their stay as well.

No pool, no parking, and the hotel stinks. You can hear everything because the walls are paper thin.

We stayed 5 nights. I booked a large room with a king bed, they gave me a large room with 2 double beds, I complained, the desk clerk said they didn't have any large rooms with a king bed. My question then is why was it offered when I booked it. Very noisy, guests ! Also the hotel says no pets, somebody had a little dog that barked now and then, I complained several time, they did nothing, the dog was there all 5 nights of our stay. Our balcony, we were afraid to stand on it, no table and chairs as pictured, our balcony was so small you couldn't have fit a table and chairs, some balconies were big enough but I saw no table or chairs on any of them. The pool was very difficult to get out of. They had one restaurant on site but it was only open for dinner, very good food but a little high on price. Cabs in the hotel zone are very high priced, we had to walk 2 blocks to catch a bus. The worst thing was I caught scabies. Needless to say we will never stay there again.

Located in hotel zone. Easy access to the main Street to get a bus. If you planning to spend time out, this is a good choice. Cheap, clean, comfortable.

Excellent view. Pool area is very nice, in the middle of a lovely garden.

For this price is what you should expect, but has all basics to be OK.

It was not fun, smelly room, broken chairs, loungers dirty pool no towels it wasn't a comfort stay

Close to the beach, reasonable price, have a nice pool.

The rooms are from 1950, beds are old and uncomfortable. The shower lights didn't work. The promised kitchenette was just a sink and a mini fridge. The Wi-Fi never worked. The pool had cigarette butts and tissue paper on it. The food at the Belgian Palapa Restaurant was plain and over priced. They gave us soap and shampoo only twice during our four day staying... for two adults! The laguna stinks with an old rusty boat parked there. and the staff was unfriendly and more worried about pushing their famous tours. I will never stay there nor will i recommend it to anyone!

Cancun was an overall great experience. The hotel was good for the price we paid. Very accommodating. I personally like to be away from tourists so this was a great location to stay. Walking distance from hotel zone, clubs and beach. The staff was great, always very helpful. I would recommend a friend to stay here, if they are looking to be in a more quiet area.

Staff were friendly and courteous. Bar and restaurant nice and on scenic lagoon. Garden and outdoor unheated pool scenic. Beach access with sister hotel great, easy walk. Buses near by. Close walk to groceries. Next to golf course. Hotel rooms dated, but for the price, just fine. Not ocean front.

I was not impressed with this hotel. Description and photos are deceiving. Not close to market 28 and not within walking distance. It took about 15 mins in the local bus. The beds were hard but luckily I like it that way. The WiFi and TV channels are horrible, hot water takes about 5 min to reach your room, continental breakfast is just prepackaged muffins, donuts and croissants. Coffee was weak, only 1 kind of cereal, and bread for toast. Think since we got the hotel via this site they gave us the worst room with a street view. Don't expect to get an early check in if you arrive early. When it says check in 3, they mean 3. Tolerated it cut we were there for only 1 night.

The room was a huge disappointment. There was no kitchenette as promised and when I mentioned it to the staff they showed me 5 other rooms that also didn't have kitchenettes. I finally gave up because there was nothing I could do about it. The room was dirty, the couch felt like I was sitting on a brick, and there was no parking. The pool was average at best. If you're looking for a hostile this is the place for you.

Although hotel isn't very close to the beach, it's situated in the good location. Hotel is dirty. What's more, worms are in the room. For breakfast you have only a few things, everything is cold, even coffee. The service is okay, but some of the receptionists rude. You have to pay if you want to make a call.

Save your time and spend a little more money, no working pool wifi only on a 3 by 5 area. Left the hotel the same I got there had to paid more money to relocate, spend less before you get there.. I was being cheap not worth it. Skip this place trust me....

clean room, great views, friendly staff. near beautiful golf course.

The hotel is very ordinary guesthouse like. Don't expect anything out of the world. You get a clean bed, a working AC, no curfew and a clean bathroom. It's perfect if you're on a budget or just need a place to crash. The hotel staff is really friendly, always a plus point. Tip the maid that cleans your room in the beginning of your stay. There's a 2 key locker inside the main office to keep your valuables. They also take care of your laptop if you want them to. The location is perfect. Small roadside food stalls right outside the hotel street. Supermarket and Pharmacy too. Busstop is 5 more minutes from the supermarket/roadside food stall area. Clubs are 15 minutes walking. All in all, a great location.
