I checked in at 9 pm. The gentleman at the front desk was nice. I requested a first floor room because we have a small service dog. His reply was we don’t have any first floor rooms. We only have a room on the third floor. I told the guy that we told them that we had a service dog and need first floor room. He apologized and said rooms are given out on first come first serve basis. So the only room left was 3rd floor. I ask if they had an elevator and he said no. I said I can’t carry the luggage to the 3rd floor.
On a positive note he called the manager and got permission to cancel reservation and gave us the number of another hotel. In the end it was okay. But I would never stay there if I couldn’t be guaranteed a first floor room. Actually I understand that they don’t have a ground floor only a basement, 2nd and 3rd floor. So I guess I would never stay at that hotel if I went to Belgrade again.
