I loved hotel so much, the only thing that was surprising that you can not swim in Gulf of Mexico, and nobody told us the only option will be pool. There were no people surfing, no ships, no aqua motorcycles, nothing, only waves and empty water horizon.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was fantastic, the food, staff and overall stay was 10/10. One of the best parts of our stay was our daily time spent on the beach. Mel and Ernesto served us and went over and above to make us feel welcome and right at home. They are amazing!!!

Service was great. Restaurants are not that great. The place feels a little older, and needs a bit of face lift. It’s clean but not like when we were there a few years ago.

Awesome staff! Make sure to get a room facing the street and not the building next door, otherwise it’s a really depressing stay. But the rooms facing the street or with a balcony are gorgeous! You’re right in the middle of the city, right next to everything.

Carlos my butler did an excellent job . He checked everyday to make sure everything was running smoothly. The main buffet area needs some work tho. Very runny eggs and raw bacon Roberto in the pool area also did an excellent job. He works hard.

Lovely courtyard and rooftop pools. But the property needs maintenance. Elevator is out of service. Jacuzzis havent been operational in a while. Clean otherwise. 24 hr staff are very nice.

Nice property, if walking/jogging the beach is your thing this may not be the best place for you as the beach is constantly interupted by piers at each hotel. Food was decent. Have stayed at Riu's several times, this was about par for their course.

It was great! Location perfect as we were next door to the Food Park. Just a few minutes to airport as well. They made our dog feel special, and gave us doggy bags. They also had treats for purchase. Rooms are very basic, no hair dryer but the bed was very comfortable and room was quiet!
