Fly to Seymour Airport

The wildlife of the Galapagos was a major factor in Charles Darwin's revolutionary scientific work, "On the Origin of Species". These unspoilt land and seascapes, and the unique flora and fauna to be found here, are still drawing visitors 150 years later.
Getting around
Flights to Seymour Airport (GPS) originate from Ecuador's edgy capital, Quito, via Guayaquil to the south. You can start your trip in Guayaquil if you prefer; direct flights to the island from here take just 90 minutes. Guayaquil is around six hours by car from the capital.
On leaving Seymour Airport, a bus service takes visitors to the docks for the next stage of their journey; a boat, either a ferry to Santa Cruz, or one of the cruise ships that travels around the Galapagos Islands.
