We had a wonderful time! The host was very responsive to any questions we had. I was impressed with how well supplied the cabin was. There was so much to do in the area. We will have to come back to complete our list! The cabin was very clean & comfortable! The grandkids loved the balconies & the horses!!

Wonderful winter weekend!

The property is beautifully situtated on the edge of the woods. The firepit is incredible and Kim had it fully stocked with wood. Sitting in the snow in those beautiful surroundings make for an incredible trip.

Love the location. Not too far from any outdoor adventures. Loved the quiet evenings at the cabin the 6 balcony's were amazing. The horses on the property were grate We had a good time

Kentucky is beautiful

Beautiful cabin with everything you need. Great location, very peaceful. We actually saw and videoed a black bear on our first day driving just a couple of minutes to the cabin. We visited the Cumberland Falls, went on a train ride and visited the Louisville Slugger Factory, plus a lot of hiking through the mountains. Absolutely beautiful landscapes.

Solitude an Rest

Was a very nice place. Ranch/Cabin style with the amenities. Very secluded and quiet. There are two horses that are nice to visit. Was a very good location to go to different sites for hikes.

Great place to stay fir a peaceful relaxing trip.

The cabin was very nice, our only disappointment was when we were searching for a place on vrbo, we were searching for places in Cumberland and, this said it was. so we based all our adventures and sight seeing on that fact. It wasn't until after after we paid for it we got the address and found it was actually an hour south of Cumberland, witch add to our travels making most of the thing we wanted to do over a 2 hour drive. Vrbo would do better to give a distance from where you are actually searching so that one could plan there trip accordingly.

Getaway in the woods

The cabin was a nice cabin for the woods -- the porches were pretty dusty, but it was a very hot weekend so we didn't use them much; the living room was very small - -was fine for two people but would have been very crowded for more than two -- and the cabin was very clean inside, kitchen well stocked, etc. My only real complaint was the king bed (we did not use the other beds) - it was very uncomfortable and I have a chronic back condition (and am used to a tempurpedic mattress) so we only stayed one of the 3 nights due to not sleeping well and waking up stiff. I would suggest a better mattress. Overall, we would recommend this cabin.

Fun Family Weekend

The property owner(s) were super nice and replied back immediately. The house and location was beautiful and lots of fun. We enjoyed that they had local information in the cabin. We love the nearby trails, felt safe to run, the horses were awesome to visit/brush/give treats and the outside bonfire area was so cool! Wish we had more time just to enjoy the cabin!

Peaceful Retreat

My family and I stayed at this clean and beautiful cabin for a few nights. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and hiking the trail behind the cabin. Cumberland Falls is a short drive away. We had everything we needed in the cabin (linens, dishes, etc.). Staying here was a peaceful retreat for our busy family!

Wonderful Cabin

The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed hiking the local trails and returning to the cabin to cook lunch and relax on the beautiful decks.
