I used this property for a weekend getaway with my closest friends. We got the suite with two bedrooms, both had king sized bed. The rooms were large and clean. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets were super soft and smelled clean. It was really relaxing to sleep on them. The suite had a small sitting room with a small fridge and microwave. We had mini split units and hot water. We used the jacuzzi at night which took some time to heat up. Let them know to hear it up as it does take about 35 minutes. I really enjoyed this spot and would definitely come back. Some of the guests were noisy into the wee hours of the night, but we were able to stay asleep. The staff was really helpful. Only note will be for the ladies, but this is in general to the area. Lots of dirt roads so just wipe your heels before entering the room.

The hotel was nice - very clean and comfortable. It is a bit remote and would be a challenge if you don’t have a vehicle. There is no restaurant or bar on site. However, the property is set up beautifully with a pool and hot tub and gathering area with tables and fire pits. You’ll get to meet the other guests for sure which we really enjoyed. Overall we were very pleased….the value we received was great for the price we paid and we would definitely consider staying at Hacienda Los Olivos on our next visit to Valle de Guadalupe.

Children proof concern

Well we had a first rough night with a mouse in our room that kept us up all night. Second the door inside doesn’t have a child lock or a fastener for safety. Our four year old left our room to the pool at about 4:00 A.M for a spa swim. We price when our room door was open because there was not a safety lock inside. We brought it to their attention but administration did not approve the safety lock for our next night stay. So I the father move a sofa to block the exit for our four year old daughter. I slept maybe three hours that night with me falling of the sofa a couple of times. Beautiful place but they should make it more child proof especially when there’s a pool outside. We were blessed nothing seriously happened to our four year old daughter. Please fix this issue for future families. J hope I can get credit back for one night stay.
