The location was great with plenty of food options available. The staff we’re extremely welcoming and attentive. The room was clean. The pub across the road was rather noisy at night but that’s to be expected. Only complaint would have been the heating in the room.

I really want to give this hotel the full five stars - it was such a wonderful place for us to stay while in Salzburg! Unfortunately, the hotel is right next door to a bar/pub and the sound traveling to our room from its customers made it difficult to sleep well. I recommend bringing a sound machine with you if you plan to stay here. Seriously though - the hotel itself was absolutely amazing!! The facility was great and the breakfast was soooo delicious!

Friendly and helpful staff

We were upgraded for free into a very nice apartment opposite the street. It was clean and warm. The next day we asked our check out to be extended with one hour and they happily agreed. Highly recommended hotel !!

The Host with the Most

Extremely pleasant check in. The room although small had everything we needed most comfortable bed. When we returned from shopping at Christmas market our host greeted us offered hot drinks. Then he sat with us and we had fun intelligent conversation. Our host made this stay exceptionally nice.

The Cityhotel Trumer Stube was one of the nicest city hotels in which I have ever stayed. The rooms were comfortable and well kept, the staff extremely friendly, and the breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety. The hotel was convenient to the old city and the major sights. I will definitely staff at the Cityhotel Trumer Stube if I ever return to Salzburg.

Average hotel. There are a couple bars on the same street that stay open late and it gets loud even at 12, 1 am. Hotel fairly clean and everything is within distance. Interacted with 3 different staff members and didn’t get any of their names but kind of hard to communicate in English. Overall just an average hotel, but clean and great location.

A perfectly maintained and charming hotel with genuinely friendly staff, a good breakfast, and excellent location just blocks from Mirabel Gardens and the Old City. The hotel suffers from one defect only, but it was a big one for me: the bar next door. This is the only reason I have not otherwise awarded 5 stars here. The bar is unbelievably loud and raucous, with screaming, yelling drunks pouring out into the streets until well after 3 AM. If you are any kind of a light sleeper, you will not get a moment's rest here on a weekend night. I could not personally stay here again, although I think the owners have done everything within their control to create a pleasant and tranquil space.

Perfect location, walking distance to every main attractions. Room is clean, quite and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is super excellent. Love the eggs with the hats and the smiley faces. All the staffs are friendly and lovely. Highly recommand this place!
