Great little spot on the lake
Had a small group of friends just getting away for the night. Great little spot, with water view. It is steep walk down to the water but very nice location. Thanks for letting us stay.

Another Great Stay!
My husband and I discovered this property last year for a 35th anniversary trip. We loved it so much that we booked again this year! Corey and his property do not disappoint...we had a fabulous week. Beautiful views to start and end our days, lots of stars at night and clear water in Mayo Lake. The fishing was good. We brought our new tandem kayak and explored Mayo Lake every day but one (it rained that day). It was so peaceful and relaxing...the perfect escape from work! Corey is a wonderful host. We have already booked next year's getaway. Be sure to plan on going to the Old Country Club Steakhouse for the most wonderful filet mignon. Not a fancy place, but boy the steak is fantastic!

Manager was very helpful
Looked like a wonderful place to stay and was looking forward to my stay. That was untul i arrived and found out it was double booked. Had to find my own place with NO help from vrbo. The manager couldn't have been better, but double booked doesn't leave him opions. Would give him a five star. Vrbo gets zero. If i had wanted a hotel rm i would have booked one.

Me and my boyfriend came here for our first vacation together. It was everything we were looking for and more. It’s secluded, quiet and charming. If you’re looking for a nice, clean, relaxing stay with a beautiful view, then you need to book here.

Peaceful and quiet
Pretty much exactly what is described. Clean and quiet on a beautiful lake. The host was kind enough to answer any questions we had and it was a pleasure to enjoy the lake some. Accommodations were clean and well appointed. My wife and Iboth commented we could have stayed there longer as opposed to only one night as this was just a stop along the way . Thanks again Corey for the stay.

Such a special place
We've stayed here numerous times and it's our favorite. The host is terrific, informative, supportive, interactive while at the same time allowing you complete privacy. It's a serene place on the lake and the views from the bedroom are spectacular when you wake up and see the sun rising. The porch is an awesome place to sit in the morning and have coffee (although we go mostly during the colder months of the year). The kitchen is nicely stocked with updated appliances and a Keurig as well. The bedroom is a nice size and the bed is large and comfy. Bathroom is spacious and includes a washer/dryer, walk-in shower and nice vanity. Like I said, it's our favorite place and plenty of relaxing space for a couple or small family.

One of my favorite vrbos
Very peaceful, nice place to stay. Excellent kitchen. All the upgrades were wonderful. One suggestion. The couch is pretty saggy. Everything else was great. They even have fresh firewood for you!!

Excellent Experience
The Host did an excellent job communicating with me making for an effortless check in process. The view of the lake was amazing and relaxing after a long day. The space was very clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable. I would recommend this to others travelling and needing to stay in the area. Definitely going on my list for places to re-visit!

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I rented this property for a four-night getaway to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived, we were surprised to find a beautiful flower arrangement and 35th anniversary card from the owner, Corey! His thoughtfulness brought me to tears. We will never forget this gracious act of kindness. Corey's rental property is stunning. The home is very spacious and bright with large windows in every room showcasing stunning views of the lake. Everything is built with quality and love by Cory himself. The beautiful and well-appointed kitchen made fixing meals enjoyable. The king-sized bed is comfy and looks out on the lake. The perfect way to wake up! The bathroom is HUGE and features a spa-like walk in shower with fantastic water pressure. The full-sized washer and dryer were appreciated. There is a large, covered porch with a picnic table and wicker seating set that was enjoyed the evening it rained. The lot is quite steep, but a pontoon dock and deep water make for great fishing, sunning and kayak launching. We caught several nice fish right from the dock (using minnows). The home is located on a quiet cove at the end of the lake. We rarely saw any other people. I cannot say enough about Corey. He is a perfect host and even though he lives above the rental, we never heard him or his dog. He came down to the dock to introduce himself and make sure we knew he was available if needed. We will be returning next year!

Beautiful place
We stayed for a weekend with the family to attend a music festival nearby. The house was great, everything clean, comfortable, working well. Beds were comfortable, shower big and good supply of water. Breathtaking view of the lake in the morning! Owner lives upstairs, but you don't hear him at all.

Best place ever!!!
This place was EXACTLY what we wanted. My best friend and I try to get away together 3 or 4 times a year to just relax…saw this place and it was just an hour from my us! Know that the owner lives upstairs but you don’t hear him BUT he’s so wonderful if you need something. Best appliances…fridge has an ice maker, stove and microwave…Keurig does pod’s or regular drip coffee. Beds are amazing…I have back issues and had no problem at all. Bathroom good! The view out is so beautiful. Paula and I like cooler temps but this is a great place for summer…fishing polls, kayaks…beautiful! The host is wonderful and willing to help you in any way! It was an amazable time!

Wonderful place to stay
We absolutely loved this place. So cozy and peaceful. The view was absolutely beautiful, especially as the sun was setting. The house was very clean and well maintained. Corey is an awesome host. He even come down and introduced himself to us, which was a plus, in my opinion. We greatly enjoyed out weekend getaway and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

Beautiful lake views
The lake views were a highlight of this property and the fall colors were amazing. The owner was great with communication and responsiveness. It is a bit remote but there is a nice state park nearby for walks.

Great host and rental!
We so enjoyed our stay! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Early in the morning we enjoyed sitting on the porch taking in the sounds of creation and the stillness of the lake. As well, my husband enjoyed the kayaks.
