Could have been better without the noisy kids

Nice stay I was in a new suite but the shower room toilet was kinda cold maybe not insulated properly had to leave door open for heat to come in. They did not replace my linens the next day I had to ask for them. Also on the morning of the last day of my stay heard kids being loud at 645 am till 730 or so and messing around one of the kids may have been rough with the other one I heard something like your hurting me. Ridiculous to hear kids at this time of the morning I believe it may have been the clerks kids at the front desk she said she would take care of it. At 730 they went running down the hall.

Pros: Parking was easy, as was finding the room. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean, and the mattress wasn't uncomfortable. Cons: Because the property was undergoing renovations, there were drilling sounds going on into the evening, and the room smelled strongly of paint, even after opening the windows. If anyone is sensitive to this chemical smell, this motel currently might not be the best place to stay. Also, there was practically no soap in the bathroom's soap dispenser, nor was any bar soap provided.

Good room in Hallstead

Very good stay one of the best rooms I ever had. The only complaint was when I arrived and entered my room the heat wasn’t on very cold in there had to turn the heat on and jump into a hot shower and turn the heated lamps on in bathroom. They should have heat on in rooms for the guests so it’s comfortable when we arrive.

This property is not as pictured. Ceiling tiles are so low I can touch...and I am only 5'7". Ceiling tiles broken. The shower head is so low when turned up it only hits me in the chest. One blanket on bed, don't know if others available. Perhaps it is under renovations.

Caveat emptor!

Very well worn and worn out. The bathroom has odd layout with toilet very close to tub you need to sidestep to get to it. The tub/shower is more caulk than tile. Mildew! Beds are lumpy and support. Bottomline- you get what you pay for! Caveat emptor!

This is a nice, family-run motel. So much nicer than the big chains. These folks run a clean establishment, they are very pleasant, & the furniture is comfy & there is lots of hot water. We will definitely be staying here again.
