Weekend getaway

Our favorite cabin, our go to happy place. Any chance we get we go. There’s a lot to do in the area for those who do, we choose to chill. Never disappointed

Mountains m music, and wine

The cabin was immaculate,we came for some music at the Floyd Country Store, some hiking and to visit some wineries; visited 3 wineries with some nice varietals each a little different, some morning hikes and evening music-weather was great and unseasonable warm for November, will likely visit agin in the dead of winter or early spring.

An amazing weekend get away !!

We had an amazing time at this cabin!! It was such a beautiful home with an incredible view. We spent a minority of our time out on the back deck which was incredible. The cabin was clean and had plenty of dishes and blankets etc. The owners were available whenever I messaged them and they gave many resources for things to do in the area!!

Nice for an Overnight Stay

PROS: We needed a place to sleep for one night that was close by Chateau Morrisette and this cabin was only a 15 minute ride away. The view from the cabin is beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was easy to find. We did not use the kitchen except for a few wine glasses although it appeared to be well stocked with everything needed had we been planning on cooking or eating at the cabin. Our host was very responsive -- only had a bit of difficulty in locking the door the first time we left because we were instructed to turn a knob to the right and it should have said 'to the left'. My brilliant son figured it out LOL! CONS: We did not use shower although did find a used washcloth slung over top of shower curtain. Since there were 4 of us, it would have been nice to have another comfy chair to sit on because a two-cushion sofa really only seats 2 people comfortably even if it is a true sofa and not a loveseat. Lighting could have been much better/brighter -- especially on the stairs. We had every light turned on so we could play cards and it was still very dim in the living room and the dining table was no better. There was glitter and tiny pieces of tinsel on the carpet when we arrived, I assume from someone's Christmas celebration at the cabin.

Beautiful cabin and scenery. Very nice! Very clean, but i seen spider webs in the bathroom and somebody's left over soap on the ledge of the shower. That is my only complaint. We will try to come back and stay longer. Hated to leave.

Cozy Cabin

Perfect cozy cabin for a reset weekend! Other cabins around so I felt safe. It had everything I needed. Enjoyed the fireplace since it was sleeting and raining. Loved it and would love to come back!

Longing to return

This beautiful home was a spur of the moment rental. What an amazing place! The home is immaculate with such fine touches ranging from makeup wash clothes and fancy soaps to a well stocked kitchen complete with mirror and pestle. The bed was very cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed our overnight stay wishing to be able to stay longer. Thank you Dylan for sharing your space with us. God bless

Family Getaway

We enjoyed the surroundings of sightseeing, eateries, shopping and most of all the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains!!! Fireplace at night, on the porch in a rocking chair with a good glass of wine from the nearby winery, doesn't get any better than that.
