Disney and Country Escape in the Midwest

We stayed at Hotel Marceline over a long holiday weekend to celebrate a birthday and our annual trip to honor the legacy of the Disney family and Walt Disney. The hotel provided the perfect base for exploring Marceline, the hometown that inspired so much of Walt’s vision. The town's charm, the Disney history, and the hotel’s location made this trip unforgettable. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a cozy, welcoming feel that matched the spirit of Marceline. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was seamless for our celebration. We also appreciated that it’s just a quick two-hour drive from Kansas City, so we felt like we had a weekend escape that was easy to get to. Highly recommend Hotel Marceline to anyone wanting to explore the roots of Walt Disney or just looking for a quiet, nostalgic getaway.

Nice little place

Small hotel but well maintained with a comfortable bed. Quiet. Their standard rate appears to be considerably lower than what hot-ls.com charges, hint. Only down side is tgat office closes at 8pm

While the hotel is very old school, they are gradually updating it. It’s nice having a fridge and microwave and a flatscreen tv. However, the window shade was a bit old, as is the bathroom, but it was a comfortable room with easy access to the parking.

The review you really need.

Wasn’t able to stay. The booking lists a 24 hour front desk. When we arrived shortly after 11PM the office was closed but had a sign for a 24h line, which we spent 30 mins calling with no answer. Having been on the road for the previous 20 hours, in the interest of safety drove to a nearby hotel and booked a room. They have still not released a refund for the stay and are avoidant of all communication. Simply unprofessional.

I purchased a room with 2 queen beds. When I got there the room was really musty and it had only 1 king sized bed. It was late and we didn't bother talking to anyone to try to change it. Just not happy with the place. Also, we left a phone charger there and tried to come back and check if it was there. The parking lot was empty. We had to wait for a some guy to walk 10 minutes to meet us there and he said the room was occupied and wouldn't look in it. NOT occupied... nobody was there. We left.

Marvelous Marceling

Overall stay was great. Did have an issue with the wifi signal in our room they did put in a booster which fixed it but it too them 2 days to do that so we had to go down to the paring lot for 2 days to get a signal on our devices. Other than that the stay was great. Room were quiet and close to everything.
